I got a flyer in the mail with this phone number on it. It is for Carnival Cruise Lines 8day/7night cruise.  I dont know who it actually that is sending it.  Doubt that it is the cruise line.

i also received a postcard in the mail for a "COMPLIMENTARY"  8 day/7 night cruise for 2 and 3 RT airfares.  The number to call was 877-753-7451.  Postcard said it was NOT a timeshare or land sale offer, but it did not say what it was.

I got the same post card in the mail today "In celebration of our Grand Opening in your area, You have been selected to receive a  Complimentary 8day/7-night cruise for 2 with an outside cabin, leaving from any major port in the US including New York City".  If you call with in 48 hrs as a bonus "2 Roundtip Airfares leaving from or going to any major ariport in the continental us"

I trie the number and let it ring at least 8 rings, no one answered.  Any one else try to call the number?

Its a travel company trying to get you to listen to their 90 minute presentation on why you should book travel thru them.  no doubt a vacation club and a HARD SELL.

Jaco is correct. Its a travel company - Travel Deals Windsor (CT) trying to get you to listen to their 90 minute presentation on why you should book travel thru them.  no doubt a vacation club and a HARD SELL. I went to one a number of years ago. You can never cash in on the free deals.

Went to one yesterday.  All of the sales reps in the office are from other states, none live in the area.  They want money orders for payment!!! Don't know how long they have been in Windsor, CT but seems like they just set up shop for a short period of time to sell you a $9,000 package. Oh yeah, they will take off $1,000 if you are the first in the group to buy the package.  REMEMBER: If it sounds too good to be true it usually is.  Ask those who LOST millions in those Ponzi schemes.

After going to the meeting and you do not buy their package etc, do you still get the free cruise and
air package?????? I don't want to travel there (1 hr on the road one way) and find out they do not give
what they promised...

Attended a presentation by this company last night. Does anyone actually know someone who joined this travel club and whether the club delivers on the low priced vacations they say that they can do?

HARTFORD, Conn. -- The Channel 3 Eyewitness News I-Team uncovered new information about a sham travel club that customers call a scam.
The I-Team first told viewers about TravelDeals last week, and the response was huge. The I-Team now knows the names of the two men who tried to physically throw them out of the TravelDeals office, and it's now known that they're accused of running a travel scam in Massachusetts, too.
It was clear that the staff at Traveldeals in Windsor didn't want the I-Team looking into their travel club, but they were all too happy to brag about the benefits to customers like one man who spoke to the I-Team after agreeing to keep his identity secret.
"During the seminar they showed us various resorts and cruise deals and the prices seemed very, very good to excellent. Nothing that I could get by myself," he said.
But the cost was high, and like all the TravelDeals customers the I-Team spoke to, the unidentified traveler wasn't given the chance to do any research on the company because they wanted full payment right then and there.
"(The cost was) $8,100 and change," he said. "And then you had to pay a $299 per year when you used this service, but you had to do it that night."
But when the customer got a password to the TravelDeals website, he said the offers weren't what he was expecting.
"The costs were not that great. It wasn't what we saw in the seminar," he said. "Basically it was like someone was sitting at a computer and when you called, they'd just look up and get the best deal that they can. Same thing that anybody else could do."
That's a similar story to the more than a dozen customers who called the I-Team after seeing the report last week.
Some had lost $1,000 and others many times more.
The $8,000 plus was the highest figure the I-Team had heard of, so then it starting looking into the men behind TravelDeals, it heard from several people, including one customer, who recognized one of the men as the man who tried to throw the I-Team out of the TravelDeals office.
His name is apparently Adam Armstrong. The I-Team found pictures on his Facebook page, and it's the same man who tried to hide his face from the I-Team's cameras.
Armstrong identified himself to many customers as the TravelDeals manager, though he would never give his last name and his signature certainly won't give it away.
The I-Team also heard from one caller who linked Armstrong to a travel club in Massachusetts called Fantasia. The caller said Armstrong was a manager there, too.
That club in Methuen, Mass., was one of several sued by Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley in 2010 for violating consumer protection laws in the Bay State.
Methuen police told the I-Team they were flooded with complaints about Fantasia that sound exactly like the complaints about TravelDeals, and they showed the I-Team's report to one of their victims and said they positively identified Adam Armstrong as the man who ripped them off, but back then he said his last name was "Plants."
Methuen police reopened their criminal investigation and the man who calls himself Adam Armstrong is only one of the major players.
A document from Coakley led the I-Team to another. It listed a regular salesman in the Massachusetts sham vacation club as Mandred Henry, who was identified through Facebook photos as the the other Traveldeals staffer who decided it was better to push the I-Team out rather than risk answering even a single question.
The I-Team already tied TravelDeals to a scam being investigated in New Jersey -- it was those original complaints to the Better Business Bureau there to give Traveldeals its "F" rating.
So why hasn't anyone shut TravelDeals down?
The Department of Consumer Protection said they now have six complaints, and the attorney general's office has half a dozen too. Both groups are investigating, and said they hope to close the company and to get customers back their money -- but it may not be easy.
But the I-Team's unidentified customer, who lost $8,000 to TravelDeals, is also the only person it heard of who actually got into the TravelDeals password protected website, saw their less-than impressive offers, and still got the company to refund their money.
How'd he do it?
He said he went to Windsor police and filed a criminal complaint. He said a Windsor detective went to the TravelDeals office.
When Adam, Mandred and the others heard that police were involved and that this customer was preparing a complaint to the attorney general, they suddenly changed their tune.
"I had all these things in motion and we got a miraculous call saying they'll refund our money," he said.
Neither Armstrong or Henry returned our requests for comment.
The last time the I-Team spoke to a representative of TravelDeals was two weeks ago -- at that point they still insisted it was legitimate.
The attorney general, the Department of Consumer Protection, Windsor police and now Methuen, Mass. police all have open investigations and want to hear from you if you gave the company any money.

Unfortunately, we went in March and sent in money orders for the cruise and air. Can you please tell me where the meeting was. Was it Hayward Ave? We went to a hotel in Hampton. I have all of the documents and want to confront them.

I received a card in the mail and called. They never mentioned thier actual name, but it sounds like the same company. They are having seminars today and this week at the Courtyard Marriot in Nashua NH at 5PM and 7PM.

Cmon people!  You dont get things for free!!  I cannot believe people would shell over that kind of money without realizing it is a scam.  I got a card in the mail today and wanted to see if it was the same company reported above and it is.  Throw these direct mailings away and put yourselves on the No Call List and report people that still call.  And in response to TS from above NO YOU DONT GET A FREE CRUISE! ITS A SCAM!

this is a classic case of a bunch of greedy consumers thinking its free when its not. read the print on the post card people. it says you are responsible for taxes and fees. does it use the words free on it. no.

Travel Deals 425 Hayden Station is a scam. They are linked to Travel Deals Marlton NJ owned by Darryl Turner and his cohort wife Robyn Bernstein.
Adam Armstrong and his scam artists are bilking customers out of thousands of dollars while the Dept. of consumer affairs collects evidence. Stay away! They send out post cards for a complimentary cruise and airfare. The client pays $250 per cruise and $50 per airfare in taxes etc.made out to a bogus "Reservations" travel agency in Lake Success NY (it is a virtual office owned by Bernstein) They have no intention of honoring anyones certificates and the 8995.00 travel deals program is also a hoax. Please stay away and pass this on to anyone you know. These scammers are in all states under various names. There MO is almost always the same. Be aware! The ISSUE "Windsor CT" aka Adam Armstrong or one of his cohorts is not the fees but the fact that there is no "Reservations" agency in the first place. Your scam is up!!!!!

Do not buy into this!  Unfortunately, my husband and I fell victim to their pitch in May.  They lowered the 9 grand pricetag to $3200 for us.  When we got home we went online to do some research just in case we needed to actually cancel in the three day window we were given.  What we found online was that "travel deals" does not have the B+ rating on better business bureau as they had suggested.  RSI who they claim to be affiliated with had the B+ rating.  Travel deals actually had an "F" rating.  Feeling a little uneasy with that finding, we then came across a news report investigating travel deals only two days before we were in there!  Our presenter, Adam, was seen on the video footage getting all heated with the cameramen and shooing them out of the building.  I'm sorry, but wouldn't a legitimate business welcome in cameras and want to "tell everyone" about all the great deals they provide in this exclusive club?  Here was the final straw for us...we were told that we may not get access to the private website that shows all the deals for possibly up to 5 days.  Well, we only had 3 business days from the Tuesday night meeting to cancel and get our money back.  I truly believe their intention was to allow us access into the website once we could no longer cancel.  And then too bad for us when we realize the deals were not what they had advertised in the presentation.  I know your probably thinking we are idiots for even falling for this and I have to agree with you that we were!  Luckily we got a full refund with the exception of $100 (they kept a non-fundable 2.8 % of the purchase price).  I spoke at length with the police officer who handled this case.  He reported to me that all complaints are being turned over to the attorney general.  If you are reading this after signing up with travel deals, I urge you to cancel within that 3 day window!
