im not sure who this is but i got about 5 calls from them this morning before they finally left a message which stated that if i didnt call back i would be in trouble and they would be sending police to get me shortly after i dont now if this is a scam or not ive been looking all over for information on the number and i cant find anything what do i do?

SCAMMERS - trying to get us to pay supposed payday loan via debit credit card over the phone. Calling relatives and friends - harassing and threatening tactics such as they are a law firm that has papers or summons to serve us. Also using phone # 877-749-1308. Please do not fall victim to these sick predators. Look up "payday loan collection scam". File complaints with ic3.gov, FTC, and Atty General.

THIS IS A SCAM. Do not be intimidated, you can't go to jail for owing a debt. If you owe a debt, by LAW they have to provide you the info in writing.

These people also use numbers 877-919-9360, 877-749-1308, , 877-919-9392, 866-922-5104. They will not give you their address. Say it is to protect their employees. They don't like to use letterhead because people manipulate it and use it for other purposes. Some of the names I have found are Margaret Wallace, Janet Waters, Daisy Albright and Mike Miller. These are names they are using. Don't know if they are real. The numbers have the following extensions:
110- Daisy Albright
111- name is cut off when it answers
112- Janet Waters
113- answered as phone number 113 is not available

The woman who called and left message about my being investigated for fraud said her name was Margaret Wallace.

Trying to get me to pay a payday loan via debit credit card over the phone. They've been calling my calling my relatives and harassing them as well. From a supposed lae firm called "Imperial" saying they have a summons to serve me at my residence and/or place of employment. They also told my releatives that they could be summoned as well. So far there have been 3 different numbers - 877-749-1308, 877-763-5747, and just today, 866-922-5801. SCAMMERS. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION OR BANK ACCOUNT INFORMATION!! I have already filed complaints with FBI, FTC, and Attorney General.

There are two main people who usually call, a man and a woman. The same woman will use two different names, Ms. Walker & Ms. Morris. The man does the same, Mr. Walker & Mr. Evans.
