same thing! Called my dad in Japan and can't receive until he comes back to the states.

stating I made an entry to win a SUV at a mall and my entry was selected . Try to call back did not get a reply

I got thw same call like 5 mins ago i didnt pick up said i won suv or 25k. I remember doin a contest like this in a mall but is this legit?????

This man called me after 3:45 PM today. He said his name is Todd. He claims I won an SUV or $25,000.00 in a contest I entered at a shopping mall. I never entered into a contest to win an SUV anywhere. He left a message on my voicemail,  left his number 877-774-2199 extension 255 and had said that it is a toll free call. I think it might be a scam. There is no way I am calling him.

got same message, I'm sure it's a scam, I do not enter contests and would not have released my home phone number in any case.  found this thread looking how to report it.

same call, came through another 800 number but gave this number to call back. I've filed a complaint with the FTC so they have it on file.https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint

Got a call from this number saying I had filled out a form and had won an SUV or $25K.    I was out so "Todd" left a message on my voice mail.  Called back "Todd" and entered extension 255.  Of course I got a message and it said to leave a detailed message, a day time phone number and a time they can call me back.  NOT.

Another Maureen with the same exact call on the same day, how coincidental this really sound like a bunch of crap!

4:00PM EST - New Jersey

Received an automated call from someone who identified himself as a "Todd".  His extension was "255".  Said I submitted an entry and won a SUV or $25,000.00 cash.  It's a scam - I will not call back.

Todd is a busy man. He just left a VM that I won an SUV or 25k from a contest I may have entered at a mall. I called the number out of curiosity and got Todd's vm. He was probably busy on the phone trying to scam his next victim.

Got the same voice message today from "Todd". If you listen carefully to the message, he never actually says you "won" the SUV or $25k. He says "your entry has been selected." People assume this means he said they "won." Aside from the fact that I have never entered any contest at any of the described venues, having my nonexistent entry "selected" means I've been selected to be scammed.

I too got this call. When I called back to see what was up another guy said todd was attending a conference and that he was the prize coordinator and could help me. He then said "I was selected as ONE OF the prize finalists". I then said it sounded a little questionable and he said "ok well we will just select the runner up" and hung up on me. Suggest avoiding this scam (though not sure where it would have gone should I have listened to his pitch and he did not hang up) but they are very cautious with their language and I think once they realize I am not a moron they can get one over on ....they move on to the next guy. Sounds like good business to me...if you are phishing for vulnerable people. If anyone knows what they are ultimately selling I would love to know. In mean time I just reported the number to my states attorney general. You all should do the same. Most have a web site to submit it.

Yep, Todd called us also, we must have been the runner up! LOL..Same pitch SUV or $25,000 in cash. It's surely a scam. Don't call back

Same here.  Voicemail from Todd, about a prize of 25K or SUV, based on a entry slip at a mall.  We NEVER fill out those things, so I knew it must be a scam.  Message deleted.

Just got call saying either won brand new SUV or 25,000. He left 877 774-2199 to call back.
