I was having computer problems and searched web for help and received a call from James W. who says he is with Microsoft, gave me full name and Empl # so I let him work on the computer. He was showing me all kinds of problems and then came the hit for money which I approved, my banked called about his charge and said suspicious so I ended the so called help. I checked my bank and he tried 3 times to charge my account, good think

So what about all the problems that you now have since you left him into your computer? Why did you not consult Microsoft directly? Why did you not take the computer to a real brick and mortar shop in your town? Have you had the computer properly cleaned of all  the malware that was installed.  Have you changed all your user names and passwords using a secure computer that hasn't been accessed by these people? Have you notified all your contacts since they stole that list as well? Are you going to take precautions in the future? They will call you and try to get in again and again and again, sometimes offering you a "refund". Have you educated yourself on scams?
