This number is used by NCO Financial collection agency.

Caller asking for my son. Told gentleman son does not live here anymore.I asked to take message in case I see him,and this is the number he gave me 877-803-8009.Gentleman could barely speak english.

This company is calling me, they say they
want to *update their records*. They leave
this number for me to call back. I do not.
(1 877-803-8009) I think that our Attorney
General would be interested in their tactics.

For 3 or 4 days call received (1 877-803-8009) no one says anything. The last day they asked for Shirley. Adv them wrong number and hung up. We are not behind on any bills for them to call us. Reporting them today. We are on "do not call list". Caller ID indicates: NCO
Googled # and it indicated NCO.

Keep calling for no reason! Just leaves #.

has been calling me for a few weeks now but never leave voicemail or anything. very annoying.

on January 27th company called a couple times during the day and once 9:00 pm when i answered they hung up i called them back and asked why they are calling me. they asked if i had a capitol one credit card. i asked them why they wanted to know they proceeded to tell me they could look it up by my account #. i refused and asked him if he thought i was stupid. i told him to look up why they were calling me by my phone # and he said he couldn't  i asked him to put me on their do not call list he said he could not.

Another SILENT call when I pick up.
This time when I call back it's answered as NCO/Capital One.
I'd written to Capital One back in November when I kept getting calls from India about my Capital One account. (HAVE NEVER HAD ONE!)
And told them that because of this harassment I would never in a million years consider getting their card either!
They claimed (in Nov. 2008 by email) they'd removed me from the list, but obviously not.
Filled the usual DONOTCALL.GOV complaint & also a complaint with the FCC directly.
Will update their company rep on Vanno.com as well.

I need for them to stop calling.

i answered to silence, then i heard what seemed like a doctor in the background saying "i don't think it's broken, no it's not." then after about 30 seconds of me saying "HELLO!" the same guy who was saying it's not broken answered and said hello, then he asked for my dad. when i informed him my father wasn't at home at the moment, he said he'd call back later. it was a very awkward conversation that went nowhere.

Recorded message "stay on the line" calls.  I hang up.  Later call the # and it's answered as NCO CAPITAL ONE.

I've NEVER EVER had a Capital One card.

And since they've been calling & harassing me for months I wrote a nasty letter to Capital One telling them that they not only would I NEVER EVER get one of their cards, I was actively discouraging friend, family & aquaintances from doing so, based on their harassment.
THAT got a result and on Nov. 21 Matthew Dalton at Capital One acknowledged that they were calling me in error and claiming that they would remove my # from their list.
Clearly that didn't work!
Filed another DONOTCALL complaint (which seems to do nothing).
Not sure who else can help.
Seems like state attorney generals from where the calls originate wont' help.  My phone provider claims they can't block calls.  
Any other suggestions?

They keep calling me too. Have filed tons of DONOTCALL complaints & FCC complaints.
Even got Capital One to admit it was a mistake (i"ve NEVER had an accoutn w/ them) but still they call.

nco fin sys now has a number of 866-308-1977 and they call for the wrong person but i get the same calls over and over with no reply

they call daily and have begun calling everyone in the state of FL with my last name, I haven't lived in FL for 3 years. They refuse to offer any proof of who they are.

Constant calls during the day. evening,  night and weekends.  No message on answer machine. No one answers when I pick up finally called reached NCO collection for Capital One, my account is current. The party that answered wanted more information for my account I refused.  The calls persist my request to be removed have been ignored as are all their annowing calls.hhH

Call numerous times... even though my number is on the do not call list

I keep getting calls from this number, I never answer because I do not know the number. I am moving soon to a location that I will need to get a new number. When I do I will put it in a name that is not mine then they can go to you know where...

Been getting calls from 866-381-9807. Ask who they are they refuse to say.
Name on CID is NCO FNC SYS. I don't know what that stands for and they refuse to say. Do not call lists are no good. They probably have so many complaints they can't keep up! I tell them if they keep calling and I have a heart attack from them getting my blood pressure up, my family has directions to sue the pants off of them!
