A "Brian" called saying I MUST call them back regarding some civil lawsuit saying I had to call back immediately.  I asked for the name of the creditor but he would not give me that information.  I asked why he was calling and he rattled on about being a licensed, bonded process server.  I told him I served legal documents for more than 20 years and would be illogical to give advance notice to the person or entity to be served.  He remarked that changes have been made.  He was rude.  Said for me to call back at 877-806-5690. I checked court records for San Bernardino County and there was NO record of any lawsuit filed against me.

message left on my cell. I called the number they left, no name was given,. and asked what the company did. Told they do filing and mediation for pending civil lawsuits.

I received a voice mail from this number and had my red flag on but called anyway and played dumb. I spoke with a Julianne, did not divulge any information said i was calling on behalf of who they were asking for and she iasked if i was her POA. I gave the case number and all they said they could tell me is that it was from Reliance Services. I said i would turn it over to my attorney and hung up

I got the same exact call !   This guy "Brian Johnson" was so rude.    I would STRONGLY you guys do what I did and contact the CFPB - ( http://consumerfinance.gov/ ) - Click on "SUBMIT A COMPLAINT".    Click on "Taking or threatening to take an illegal action" (sub) "Threatened to sue me on a debt that is too old to be sued on".

I got a voice mail from a Brian Johnson at "Bona (sp?) Carrier Services in Seattle threatening me with legal action and that they were sending someone to my house to serve me with legal documents and I need to call the "Litigation Office" at: 877.806.5690 with reference number: XX-XXXXX.

I called this number and they said they had a Lawsuit filed for a GE Account (Store) and I have to pay them "X" amount in order to stop this Lawsuit.     I explained to them him I am permanently disabled and am Social Security Disability.

He did NOT care and was EXTREMELY rude, intimidating and threatening, then he hung up on me !

This GE/SYNCB, (Store) account is WAY past the Statue of Limitations.    This account was opened in 2008 & was last paid in JULY 2010.

The account was opened when I lived in Nevada where the Statue of Limitations is Four Years.   It's OVER Five Years (close to Six) past the Statue of Limitations.

They also called ALL of my Relatives before they called me !

I sent GE (now SYNCB) & the collection company (CACH,LLC) a Cease & Desist letter several years ago and have not heard from them since.

I am currently looking into my legal recourse against them.
