Qwest Customer Service trying to collect past due bill.

I got a call from this number. An automated system immediately put me on hold for ~5 minutes. When an operator picked up, he told me he was with Qwest, and asked for my social security number and billing address. I asked him what this was concerning and he said "your account". He refused to give me any more information unless I provided my social security number. I hung up and called Qwest customer service. They said that my account had no record of calls made to me and no notes regarding needing to get in touch with me.

The Qwest rep I called told me that this call was not from them, and likely a scam!

I recieved an automated call from this number. After being on hold for 5 minutes the call was disconnected.

Got a call from this number and it put me on hold Right away. It's a scam... It's not from qwest.

This is the number that a Centurytel, formerly Qwest, representative gave me regarding the ER Solutions collection agency that they use. I paid a bill from Qwest through them a month ago. They currently have no record of the payment and they are still hassling me. When I call the number it immediately goes into a "hold" situation and they play the same mesage that Centurytel does. I've yet to get through to a real person.

They called and put me on hold to an automated message. Sounds like a scam

Got a similar call today.

Called Qwest back directly from the phone number on my bill.

They said this it was NOT a qwest/century link rep calling me.

Got a call from this # today, automated answering service, was placed on hold. When I finally spoke to a live person I asked them for the company name, she told me it was Century Link. My phone is a pre-paid cell, so the number has been re-used alot, and she asked for someone that I believe used to have this same #. My guess is this number belongs to the collection division of Qwest / CenturyLink (think they merged in this area).

They called me, immediately put me on hold for 7 minutes, then disconnected.

I work at a business. I continually several times a day receive calls from this number. The few times I answer am told to please hold. Someone will be with you shortly. If you are calling me, please don't tell me to hold!!!!!!!!!!. Again, I don't have time several times a day for these unsolicited calls. They need to STOP.

THIS NUMBER CALLING YOU IS NOT A SCAM. Up until about 2 weeks ago, I was employed by a collection agency called EOS-CCA located in Denver, CO. This company was hired by Qwest (now Century Link) to do "Final Billing" for Century Link. When you had their services and then cancelled but there is still an outstanding bill on the account, Century Link sends it to us to collect on, and technically since it's not in collections they don't have to abide by the laws of the FDCPA. So they can call you as many times a day as they want. I will not deny that EOS is a terrible company. I don't regret quitting. Their employees aren't of the highest pedigree and they are likely to break the rules and make you feel weird. But they do have to verify your address (You telling them what it is) or your SSN in order to disclose any information to you. That is Century Link's rule. If you really don't want to pay and you don't care if it goes to collections just tell them they have the wrong number. You have no idea who that is.

received call at 5 pm and was put immediately on hold. waited for several minutes and then a man came on the phone "Linda" when I asked who he was phone disconnected. I am like other people do not call me and put me on hold. I will generally not hang on and this number will go to my reject list everytime.

They call me twice a day asking for someone not living at my home or using my services.  I asked to have my number removed from their list only to have them call again several hours later.  At this point I said if I receive another call I will be reporting it to the police.  Decided after looking up the number on Google, to report it anyway.

We don't have a Qwest account and haven't for years, yet I received a call from this number.  It has to be a scam.

Collection agency for century link.

This number has called me multiple times every day for the last week and I'm getting sick of it

I get the same call couple times a day. I never answer, but I believe it is a bill collector.

I gat called from this number and they said they were connecting me to another party, instinct told me right off this was a crack call from who knows, so I hung-up.  Just a half hour before someone else called me saying they were a business called KSORD Technologies, a complet stranger who said he was servicing my computerr software and would I allow him to remotely access my computer?  A complet stranger accessing my computer? - HELL NO.  I have to wonder if the 2 calls were related.

I receive so many of these calls........even at 110:30 at night.  How do I remove my # from their call list.
