Got a voicemail stating that I had a judgement against me but they needed my home or work address??? At the end of the conversation she said "consider yourself served". You can't serve a person over the phone, I know that much.

Same as all the complaints I've read. Got a call @ work saying I was going to be served, never said by whom or for what. I've called global no one has answered. I've left messages as well. I think this is pretty shady!!!

Got a call today. Said that I have a judgement against me and this is my claim number. They needed to verify my home address and place of employment and said that I have one chance to contact the mediator and to consider myself served. This number did this four months ago also. Do they think we are this stupid?

Just got the same call.  Gave me the number to contact for mediation??  Didn't identify his company, said he was on my route and I had been served, and hung up!  Are they kidding me?  He said he was verifying my employment address, which he never asked for, plus I'm unemployed.

877828213 (Global) called my mother and said there was a claim against me.  I called back and they told me it was on behalf of a payday loan for OutBack Buck.  I'd never heard of that company but I thought it was serious so I set up payment arrangements for it.  Should I contact my cc provider?

Are you crazy why would you pay someone you never heard of.  do you know how many scammers there are out there doing the same thing to lots of people

I received a phone call (warning that I would be served) much like what you all are reporting. When I called back, I was told I owe money to a company that does not even have a location in my state. This first time I called, I spoke to a woman who described herself as a "glorified receptionist." She told me who I supposedly owed money to and for how much. She offered to transfer me (when I told her I was confused and needed more information) but I was on my lunch so I told her I would call back later. When I called back later in the day I spoke to Brian. When he saw I had called earlier he seemed annoyed that I was still asking for information. He said that "I already knew everything." When I told him that the call and debt didn't make sense, he asked for my social security number. I said, "I'm not giving you my social security number." He replied, "Then I can't help you ma'am, go ahead and get served," and hung up on me. I called back again and when I asked for the full name of the company so that I could register a complaint, he said "Go ahead, it's Global," and hung up on me again. This is obviously not legit. I am planning on investigating this throughly.
