Recieved call June 07.. in Seattle WHO?? no message

Comcast subscriber, living in Seattle. No message no one on the other end.

no message - calls repeatedly! also in seattle area

They call me several times a day, but no one is ever on the other end when I answer.  When I call back, I get a recording saying it is comcast customer service.

We get a calls from this number a couple times a day every day!

I get these call daily! Sometimes 2-3 day. I have thought they were automated, so just picked up the phone and hung it up, but they call back! And when my machine comes on, they disconnect. It's really starting to piss me off. I'm pretty sure that they can be sued, somehow. It's borderline harassment.

Call was from Comcast offering a package price for cable TV, internet and phone service.

Same here:
Seattle Area, Comcast Customer, rings 2-3 times a day, no message left, no one answers.

this is indeed Comcast.  There are many reasons for them calling, only SOME of them are marketing related. For example, I had a service tech out here today who had to replace my cable converter box, and Comcast was calling to follow up to make sure everything was working OK and that I was satisfied with the tech.  Comcast apparently displays this number regardless of the reason for their call to you, since that is the number that you need to call to reach them.

I don't think this is Comcast, cause I have Comcast number as 1-800-266-2278, it is 800 not 877.

same as the usual mentioned thus far.  this must be resolved or a class action suit should suffice to intice this company to shut down it's obvious malfunctioning automated phone system.

Definately COMCAST.  Just called the #.

Waited five seconds, got no response.  Tried to call back and got a busy signal.  Looked up # on Google and map shows residence in my area, but not a business.  Probably someone telemarketing from home for Comcast.  I have Comcast cable and exchanged two poorly functioning cable boxes a few weeks ago at the local service center, but have received no feedback by phone or online.

It is hard to believe Comcast would call up their customers just to deliberately remain silent and/or hang up. This sounds like a scam of some sort or possibly an independent marketing contractor hired by Comcast to contact customers.  If so, I hope they didn’t pay too much for their services, these clowns sound like they don’t know what the hell they’re doing.

Calling every day about the same time.  It's at a time I cannot pick up because I'm teaching.  No message is ever left.

Answered the call: nobody was there, just the eerie silence of a dead line.
