Got a call from this number today. "Important call from Apella? It is important that you contact our office today at 877-825-4490. This is not a sales call."

I assume this is another debt collection company trying to locate information on my daughter.

I do not want any more phone calls please. If it is that important send me a letter.  If this is about our children they are grown and we do not pay their bills.

I received a series of phone calls from this number 877 825 4490 several months ago.  When I called them back initially the person that answered the phone stated she didn't know why they were calling me.  The calls continued and when I called back again I was told they were looking for my old tenant (who never lived at my address nor used my phone) Kyle Pruess.  I explained that I had no information about him and asked them not to call me again.  The phone calls have started again (it's 10/08) and when I answered the 'gentleman' on the phone could not have been ruder.  There doesn't seem to be a way to stop these calls.

1-877-825-4490 is a debt collection agency.  They refuse to provide any information when they answer the phone and the operator was very rude.  They refuse to stop calling and have no legitimate reason to do so.  I am notifying the FCC in hopes they can do something.

I tell them they will never get a penny until they sue me.. & even then I wont pay.. & they will waste thousands of dollars in lawyers & crap to get Nothing... then when they get snippy about it I remind them that they have the most horse-[***] job anyone could ever have.. & feel free to call back anytime to let me remind them that get nothing.. LOL

Good guess!  They sometimes call saying "Returning your call with the information you requested".

watch out for them, they called my manager of my place of employment, said they were employed by US bank and bank president is our friend, she had never heard of them and even tried to call ....in front of us...
they have never called me personally, started with marnagers private line, were not employed by us bank
and any complaint sites or sites concerning them were blocked....Im only in this tru who blocked them..
using their own device to get to them ...
i looked name and number up and there were so many complaints is was astonishing....
turns out when my dad was laid off engineering executive for worldwide manufactoring company and my wealthy grandfather had just passed away, they tried same thing sending letter for half of credit card bill, my mother called, the woman threatened us with lean on house, told my mother to stop interrupting her, and continued with asking her to borrow money from family or friends....nobody says that, how unprofessional, and it was as though they had done background check to see who is most likely to pay, just didnt tupdate....they told my dad to get a job, asked my mother why she didnt work, who promptly replied, hipa law [***], my mother had sat there and let her gone on and on, but evidentally they didnt do an intense enough background check...moms a non practicing attorney...she never heard from them again after she was finished...hope she helps me out too...hahahhahahhal..they are bad bad bad

Just 'dead air' when they get my voicemail because I don't answer 800 numbers anymore. They will have to say something if they want something! Annoying!!! Everyday, about 2 to 4 times a day!!

I received a call this morning from them saying they were calling about a US bank debt. I have never heard of them and it is not the same number the bank gave me. They asked me to pay payments i cannot affford. I dont give personal info about my finances over the phone anyway!

Yeah, if it is THAT important, you MUST know my address....you seem to know all about me!!! So, send me something if you think I owe you money!!! Otherwise............get a LIFE!!!

We need to collectively file complaints with the FCC .... that should slow Appelus down ... or shut them down.  They call me for anyone whose name is even close to mine.   They aren't the only ones. either .... collectiion agencies need to be reined in from their harassment of anyone.

Call my place of work at least 4 times a day.. US Bank Debt collector. In my opinion, these debt collectors need to have respect, its not like we took a loan from the Collection Agent personally. They purchased that debt. They have no respect. These are hard times and the last thing I need is some fu**er calling my work every 5 mins...

Same was Apples or something like that, I had a US bank overdraft of $800, they are collecting on that. Offered them 100% full if they remove me form Telechex system. She was very rude said I do not control the situation she demanded that I need to pay with no agreement. I nicely told her I will not pay until we negotiate something. She started yelling, I hung up! Very rude people.

I just call them back when i'm bored and when they pick up I don't say anything lol, it's my way of getting back

Scam number selling cars on Craigslist. Number claims to be eBay support. With people so tech savvy I'd think they'd be able to find gainful employment somewhere without having to tarnish their moral compass. What a world!
