I donated blood two years ago. These guys call me at least three times a week. Ya I know, I should just ask them to take me off their call list. Because of these calls, I am not going to be donating any more blood. I will also warn others about this.

I drove 140 miles one way to donate blood on behalf of a friend with terminal pancreatic cancer. These people keep calling long after he has passed away asking for more blood. I've asked them to stop. I've told them that it is not feasible or convenient and to take me off their list. I keep getting calls from them. No good deed goes unpunished. I'm going to need to file a complaint with the FTC to stop the harassment from these blood suckers.

Oh Geez. Get over it and donate blood a couple times a year...it takes less than an hour and you can help others who really need it! You're being selfish if you aren't going to donate because they call you "too much"...they are just trying to do their job.

They came to my school last year and pierced through my vein, and told me I shouldn't give blood anymore. They call me at least three times a week, and even though I told them to take me off their list because I'm not supposed to give blood, they still call me constantly. This needs to stop, it's harassment.

If they were an actual blood bank, they would say their name, like "American Red Cross Blood Center" or something like that.  They just said "The blood bank."  Okay, whatever...

Also donated once. Received several calls - all hours of the day and evening. othem I could no longer donate, - they still call.

What does one have to dso to hace this STOPPED?

all you have to do is ask them to remove your phone number from the list...they are very nice about it

All you have to do is ask them to take your number off the auto-call list.  Then, continue to donate when you are able

United Blood Services, no big deal...

This number just keeps calling.....no messages.

because in some parts of the united states it is known as the blood bank.  Just saying!

ok way to go ar and to the rest who continue to complain...so what you get these calls, have them remove your number. The only reason they continue to call is A-you do not answer or B- you are rude and hang up...because if you ask them not to call again they will not as I have O neg and get calls always and sometimes I give and sometimes not. no reason to get so upset over people trying to help those in needs.

Actually... They don't just give their blood away. They sell it to the hospitals who then mark it up 5000%!

I donate blood 3 x's a year, but not with this outfit. I called the organization that I do donate with and they told me they don't call me like that, they email me, so it's not them. Could it be someone else pulling a scam? My Cell rang twice and hung up, rang long enough to wake me up! NOT good.....I'm on a national  "Do Not Call list" and will be contacting them soon about this number.
