This call was made because of a complaint against me that was filed by my county but this company was calling from Niagara Falls 6 states away they are a processing office

Received a call from the same number. May I say numerous of calls to my house phone and cell phone from the same person trying to disguise her voice to be someone else. It's really sad that they are going to this extent to collect a debt. I'm not trying to run from anyone. I would love to pay off all my debt if I could, but I'm unemployed now. I've tried to reason with them to pay what I can, but guess what? They refuse to take what you can give them. Ms. Jones tells me we need to pay this debt off ASAP (2 months), she states, but when I couldn't agree to this, she went on saying that I would be facing a felony 3-7 yrs in jail.

All I can say is that Vision Asset Management, Inc is in violation of the FDCPA. They have guidelines they must conform to and threatening you is something they can't do. First of all there is no such place as a debtors jail cuz if there was most of the people would be there. I suggest that you get an attorney and sue they collector Ms. Jones and Vision Asset Management, Inc, my husband and I will be doing so soon. People need to pay their bills. This company would not be calling you at your poe,home, and cell if you did not owe money to their client. Stop being a dirty scum and pay your damn bills. Its not their fault you didnt go to school and get a job that pays decent. I think debtors are disgusting and its halarious when they run from a debt, because its always going to be there until they pay it off. It doesnt go away. Stop being a loser and making dumb excuses for yourself. Dont take out money you dont know if you can pay off or not. Get some class, stop embarassing your family name by looking like trash. I hope you all get called and harassed every day for the money you STOLE. A loan is something you pay back. You can pick out a debtor from any crowd of people who are not in the same situation. You dress like [***], look like [***], dont do [***], work 3 part time jobs to support your kids. Your scum. thats all you will ever be. there is no solution i guess. without scum like debtors though i guess there would be no fine devision between people that are way better than them. So lets keep it that way.

You are a perfect example of the JERKS who are a debt collector. You must work for this company. You're reply alone would make me want to never pay them (if I did owe them, which I don't) just to spite YOU!

Actually I honestly dont work for them, I dont have any aquaintences who work for them either.. and I have never even heard of them till I found this site by accident. I think its crazy you would make those assumptions about me just because my oppinion of people who take out money and dont give it back is a negative one.. I went to school worked hard for my 6 year degree and have a well deserved and great paying job. It boggles my mind how dirt bags think they have the right to complain about the way they are treated by collectors. Its your dirty ass that took money you dont have. If you cared about your future and your family you would go to college and get a job. and dont blame the economy there are plenty of jobs out there for qualified people.. taking a loan without paying it back is STEALING.. it is actually considered as bouncing a check... there should be a debtors jail. Its those scum you see walkin down the street carrying grocerys back to their dirty apartment or house they rent for 300 a month. Get a decent job. Collectors get paid either way unless they work off commision. I would never want their job because of all the filth out there that dont know how to take care of buisness... its sad. white/black trash and sad. go buy your food stamps, get welfare, live off the government... its all good because you still look like bottom feeding filth that no one even wants to stand next too. in all honesty you really can tell just by looking at a person what their life is like... and how they handle finances... not 100% all the time but most of the time you can. Bad clothes, used clothes, dress their kids in used clothing, buy food from dollar stores, even better most of the time very unattractive (fact). financial aid is out there for anyone eligable to go to college.. move your ugly [***] and stop making excuses. You deserved to be harassed every day. its funny to hear the stories on the news.

It doesn't sound like you learned much at college.  You can't spell and have horrible grammar.  Was the 6 year degree really supposed to be a 4 year degree that you had trouble completing?

I was told the same thing.....they are very rude, she said she would file charges against me!!!  well than I guess they will never get paid like that if I am in Jail....Best of luck to them

To priscilla, you are so wrong.  Alot of these companies are scams, they get bits and pieces of information and the prey on people to try to scare them.  They are not truly legitimate, or they would not act like they do.  Saying they have ligitiation or they are going to send someone to your house, etc,,,, They are full of it, but many many people get scared and pay them.  NO, let them file a complaint in your coutny court house, get served then fight them.... they won't file a case because they can't, they have no jursidiction.
