Got a call at my work from a Miss Randel claiming i have unpaid pay day loan from  some pay day company. this is probably the 5th cal I have had from thes same peopl mr Gary brown Mr Smith

"Marie" called me, stated she was going to garnish my wages for a debt with United Payday Loans that was taken out in 2008. She called me (I live in WA) before 8am. I gave her the name and phone number of my attorney. She stated she couldn't give me her last name, or the address of her business, which is DRI Recovery. I asked how come I didn't receive any letters regarding this and she said the creditor had sent me letters but I never responded. I told her how come they hadn't sent me any letters and she stated because they couldn't. When I asked how is that legal pursuant to the FDCPA she stated they were the creditors but yet the account was placed in her office on 7/13/10. How can they be both the collector & the original creditor? Please. I actually do have an attorney and have worked with him very closely on matters like these so I know BS when I hear it. Off to file complaints with the BBB, FTC, and post on other pages because I can see this "Marie" has threatened others as well. They also called my place of employment from the number & it shows up on the caller ID as Excel Receivables. Also, further searching shows this number belonging to Ezell Williams and Associates. I've already filed complaints with the FTC, BBB and now the IL Attorney General. Their number is 630-554-7876 and there are two address for them: according to the BBB it is 505 Rosenbush Lane Oswego, IL 60543 w/ a fax of (630) 554-5219. This number is associated to a landline phone belonging to Linda & Anthony Giangiulio at 337 Country Ln, Yorkville, IL 60560

I also get calls from these people threating me and now calling my family I sent the number to the FBI and the Attorney General office.These people have to be stopped.
They are making me sick.I never got a bill never got a loan and they keep asking me for money.

this phone number and number 630 554 7416 are connected. i got a call from the later one and they speak english. bad enough the forgein ones are calling now we got americans doing the same scam.

There was a voicemail left to me from a supposed Officer Garcia, she stated that she had an order to garnish 25% of my wages.  I called back to get some more information, a Ms. Gonzalez stated that I owed $2500.00 for an unpaid loan of $200.00! I couldn't believe my ears, this loan had been paid off almost a year ago! She told me to fax over my bank statement!! I said NO WAY, am I faxing over my information. I told her that I would call "Cash Net Usa" which is where the loan was from. She told me that if I called they would not have any of my information on file since they sent my account to them "DRI Recovery".  I called Cash Net Usa, they had ALL my information and also told me that my account showed PAID IN FULL!! he said that the company calling is nothing but fraud and to ignore them!!!

Yes, I also have received numerous calls from "Marie" and others from DNI recovery, DRI recovery and other names they use. They leave threatening messages about deducting money from my paycheck. No-one can do this without some type of court hearing. So you all need to know this is bs, big time!!! I have reported these people to the Attorney General's Office, Federal Trade Commission but the only response I have received is that these scammers are so common and numerous it is hard to catch/prosecute them. In the meantime, they make calls, threaten and humiliate people...do not on any accounts, give them any information, or for that matter even talk to them.

Yes I also have been receiving calls from this so called debt company.  The phone number that came up on my cell was 630-554-7838 but the voicemail sao to call back at 877-855-1624.  I have a law firm working for me on another issue and I spoke to them in regards to this so called company and they told me that they are scammers!!!!  So people beware - don't answer their calls.  When they called back in July I did call them back as they left a message with my supervisor that someone was trying to take money out of my account.  I told them that I would get back to them, which I never did.  Be careful of this so called debt company!!!!   FAKERS!!!!!!

I also received a call from Liz Garcia regarding a debt that was going into wage garnishment. Clearly, that message got my attention. the number was told me to call back was 877.855.1624. I have had several 630 numbers come up as well. I always google the name of a company and the number because i've had scammers hit me up before. I did have a payday loan with CashnetUsa but it was paid and it seems that an ex-employee may have taken some of our confidential information for this scam. I asked Ms. Garcia (who was very polite) if she knew the company was listed as a scam and you cannot threaten wage garnishment. She stated it would take several weeks to send the cash loan back as a refusal to CashnetUSA. I do not like receiving these calls. People threaten, which is illegal; but they are scams. The scary thing is that they know some of your information.

RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS COMPANY STATING THAT THEY HAVE MY JOB INFORMATION AND THAT THEY ARE GOING TO GARNISH MY WAGES IF I DON'T CALL THEM BACK BY 7:00 P.M.  CAN THEY DO THIS?

They have to get a judgment first in order to garnish you wages. I would call them back and request more information. If they will not give you anything, tell them your going to call the DA and report them to the FTC (FTC.GOV) as you feel this is a fraud call. Thank them and hang up. Call the DA and the FTC has an online complaint form. Let them know that they would not give you any info.

These people keep calling and threatening to garnish my wages, I read one of the posts here and I just harasing me at work and I still have not received any "information" from them.  What I just dot understand is how come I have NOT received ANY type of paper work from them?  How can we stop these people from harasing?

I checked my voicemail a few minutes ago and found two voicemails from these people. The first msg was from Ms Gonzalez and the second from Mr Ford. Both msgs claimed that they would immediately begin garnishing my wages by 25% and suggested I call them back because they are trying to help me. It sounded a little fishy to me seeing as though I'd never heard from them and also because I've paid off a vast majority of debts I obtained in college. I immediately googled the company name and found a bunch of forums like this one. I'm glad I looked into this situation. Does anyone know what happens if you never speak with them?

Got a threatening message from this number regarding a debt that one of my son't supposedly owes

I rec'd a call from them demanding I call them back to give them add'l information that I am the person that took out a pay day loan. The funny thing is you keep calling me and I am not returning your call and on top of that call my family asking question in which they said it was for something so one of my family member gave them my working number thinking someone was trying to harm my bank account.  Who is Ms Lane Land I could talk I work in a busy office dont have time to talk, if im the person they should know..

I also received a call from Ms. Perkins for bahama's marketing group and for some reason they can not tell me who the original creditor is or the original amount of the debt or produce a copy of any paperwork.  Received a call today from Ms. johnson threating wage garnishment and when I told her the young lady that I spoke with before said it was $1,000 now she is saying $2,500 and ask do they tape record their calls she said yes and I stated that I wanted to her the recording.  She stated the person that does that is out of the office and that had to be arranged.  She kept trying to get me to say to go ahead with the wage garnishment and I told her that she needed to do what she had to do and I was going to investigate more.

Got a call from a Miss Garcia - Wouldn't give the company name but I had to call back at 1-877-855-1624 to stop a wage garnishment.  Does anyone have an address to file complaints?
