They call before 9:00 am. Caller ID shows Out of area. The message is automated and it only leaves a phone number. The only thing I can find out is it shows US/Canda. I do not owe anyone and am getting sick of this. I'm on the DNC list.

My daughter in another state got a call from them this morning saying *I* (her mother) was looking for (name of the person they were looking for) and it was urgent she call them back. She did, and they asked her if she knew the person they were looking for, she did, but didn't know where he now is, and hasn't seen him in years. Said it was US Credit or something, evasive with info. She was upset, she thought something was wrong.
They used the nickname I use online. The person they are looking for  used to use my address for mail and AT&T had been calling me (last month) on my landline phone (got from the address?) and I told them where he currently is.
 How did they get my daughter's phone number and my "nickname" to use to get her to call back? She thought there was something wrong with me (her mother).  I have an AT&T cell phone I hardly use, but it's on another daughter's family plan.  And I don't use my nickname on phone bills, etc.  Do they look at phone accounts and who a person calls to get numbers like this?
  My landline isn't AT&T and the daughter they called this morning has hers through Comcast Cable.
  She doesn't even have AT&T cell phone.
   Since I had already told AT&T (when they called me every monrning and left a message to call back and didn't say WHO they were looking for till I called back) where the person is they want to find, they had no reason to call anyone (especially in my family) about this. The person they want isn't my family and doesn't live here. I have a phone on AT&T  "family plan" that is supposed to be $9.99 a month but ends up being a lot more (and I hardly use it, and had the internet blocked- it had been connecting to on it's own and charging extra for) there is a 2 year contract for. When this is up, I think I am going to change it to a GoFone, and buy time for it. It's supposedly for emergencies and I hardly ever use it. I would have a TracFone but last I knew they didn't have a signal where I live. I've heard, and now experienced too much "bad stuff" from AT&T.  Now they are calling my daughter, and using my name, for something neither of us have anything to do with.

Received a call from this number at work it was a recording unacceptable

Received a robo-call from this number at 9:30 this morning.  It said "...collection call...If you are not (name), hang up and call..." - that's when I hung up.  Then I thought again and did a callback on the callerid#, followed instructions to press 2 to talk to a person.  Did that, got disconnected a moment later.  The only reason I called back again was to tell them (name) doesn't live here (true) and to remove my number.  She was nice enough about it and said she would.  I'm sure the debt is probably valid, but they won't get anything by calling me.  If they call me again, I'll file a complaint.

The called me also, then I called them back immediately and got menu that told me to press 2 to talk to a live person, I did that. Someone IMMEDIATELY picked up the phone and said HOLD PLEASE, then all I heard was music,,, I held on for 15 minutes. Hung up, called them back,,, I just want to know who they are and why they are calling. Same thing, Hold Please,,, but this time there wasnt music, it was like the phone was picked up and put down,,, I heard cheering, alot of clapping??? Then someone must have noticed the phone...and then I heard music. So after waiting another 15 minutes I hung up. I dont understand it. We dont owe anyone, and we are on the do not call list!

Just got a call from this number.  The caller ID shows up as West Palm Beach, FL.  They leave no message.  Really sick of it.  Someone ought to stop them.  I owe no one anything, and never have.

Received two or three calls from this number and both times for different people.   First time for a Kelly Divine and second phone call about two weeks later for  a Trisha Devine.    On the other end of the phone was a guy who sounded like he was from India.

Received a call today. The person asked me to verify my name, ss# and address. I said NO, but you can tell me what the call is about and the name of the company. The guy said he could not give me that information so, I said I can't give you any information. I told him if he had my address then mail it to me......

My mom called me today saying that a Sam Jackson at ext 14997 called from 877-857-9755 on my fathers cell phone.  I have no idea how they got it becuase we dont give it out and i dont use that phone.  He told her it was very important.  When I called it it just said if you wish to be removed from out list enter the number.  I did we will have towait and see what happens.

This is collections for AT&T. I was dating a guy who had an ATT account and he added a line and transferred my number to ATT. When we broke up, I transferred my # to another service provider. Obviously, he hasn't paid his bill and they call any number that has ever been connected to the account, whether past or current/

just got another call from 877-857-9755. This time I called them back automated system answered their first selection is to remove your number from their system. Well I did now let's see what happens.

Got a call from this number, message said:  this is a collection agency please call back to verify this is you.  i did  and recording said, press #2 to speak with a live person. and so I did. the yound man said he is trying to collect a debt but i would have to verify my info before he give me any info.  he said i have to verify the last four digits of my SS# so i asked him to let me know what it is so I could verify it. he said it does not work like that. so he was sorry and hung up.

i just got a call from this number... i don't owe any money...all i get is an automated message or it just rings.
