richard silva called me but did not indicate the company or the reason for the call

a guy called by the name of richard silver.  i suspect a debt collector...

Got a call from this number and even answered it, but there was no answer and it was completely silent.  Annoying.  I'll never answer this stupid number again especially after seeing someone post that it is Richard Silver or Silva from a collection agency called Leading Edge Recovery and, "Check your credit report!!!  Leading Edge Recovery checks credit reports...their inquiries affect your credit report negatively (drops your credit score)  and stays on your credit report for 2 years."  Sounds like nothing but illegal harassment!  Someone should contact the state District Attorney or Attorney General and get this guys very highly FINED for a few ten thousand dollars or more!

Yup I too get calls at least once a week from a Richard Silver. Got one tonight after 7pm!!! It is getting SOOOO annoying!

I got a call from this number today but I didn't answer it.  A message was left to call a "Henry Webster", something I WON'T be doing.

Calls AT LEAST once a day. Twice it has left a message saying it was Richard Silva. What a pain in the ass.

I have been getting calls a couple times a week on my home phone. the few times I have answer it there is no one there. And when u press 1 you get nothing. The few times they have left messages it is always for Richard Silver. (I'm sure he's non-existent). Today after a call to my home #, I got a call to MY CELL PHONE! I do not use my cell phone for business or credit. This is personal use only. My husband called them back immediately and got a very rude female named " Danielle" who refused to help him and hung up. He called back and she said "what the hell do you want?". He asked for a supervisor 4 times, and then she hung up. he called back a 3rd time got someone more polite who tried to take a message for a supervisor and then that call was disconnected. So we attempt to get to to the bottom of it by calling back, only to be verbally abused and hung up on. I see by other postings this is a debt collector. So nice business attitude.

what i have started doing is calling these [***] back but i dial *67 in front of 8778659814 (the 867  blocks my number and they get a private caller). when they answer i don't reply and after a short time i hang up. i then repeat as many times as i feel like to annoy them and keep them from getting their work done. yes, it's a waste of my time but i do feel satisfied.

Why am I getting called from this phone number, and how did you get my number?

So much for do not call registry....I registered all my phones and still get this annoying sadistic agency. My credit is already crap, so they are not hurting me that way-but yes annoying being woken up to this.

I also registered with do not call and can not be bothered by this chop shop, go back to the olden days and send me a bill or a statement saying your taking legal action, a call at 9:00pm at night is overkill.....

Here is the website of the Scum Collectors. They've phoned me and left a non legible message. They've been investigated by the Illinois Attorney General. I suggest giving them a campaign of hell in their "contact" page and threatening to record every conversation as a legal aid to the DOJ investigation and FTA as well against them. I suggest that they are a 'bucket shop' that buys old OLD debts, many bogus or paid off years ago and tries to collect via intimidation. I've dealt with insurance ones in the past, truly the dregs of the earth. I owe no man any thing except Mastercard and I'm current.

Whomever is calling me on a daily basis says nothing. Just keeps harassing me. I say hello and they say nothing.

How do I get them on a NO CALL list?
