I have my cell phone programmed to automatically disconnect unrecognized (unapproved) numbers.  Telemarketers never have a chance to connect when calling me.

I called the number, and a man named "Richard" answered, I said "wrong number, sorry" because I couldn't understand him very well. He already knew my name. It kind of freaked me out.

this number keeps calling asking for my husband about a debt that he's ows, which is inaccurate.

some one called and asked for me and when i asked who is this, they hung up. They weren't very polite.

ITS A COLLECTION AGENCY CALLED NORTHGROUP. DO NOT CALL THEM BACK OR GIVE THEM ANY INFO OF YOURS!! THEY SCAM PEOPLE AND TAKE THERE MONEY!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

We received a call from them about a debt that we do not have... when I called the number the person did not answer in a business manner like "Northgroup debt collection agency how may I help you" but it was some guy that just said hello? Totally bogus company, they do not have a website....

This does look like a scam--the voice was English sounding and calling for someone who doesn't live here.  Website looks generically fake, too.  

Anyhow, I did try entering the debt collection number they left on the machine into the website with a fake 4 digit ending to a social security number, and it said it was invalid--whatever that's worth.

Start of message had live voice saying "pick up" and then cut to the automated English/computer voice.

I'm being harassed by calls from this number. I don't pick up and they don't leave a message. HELP! They're driving us nuts all times of the day and evening.

They call several times a day. No message. I don't answer any numbers I don't recognize. Why do they hide under unknown name.?

from northland group--fdcpa,etc violations i think.    I have so far: (in the same group, aka or dba-leading edge, elite recovery, worldwide asset mgt, west asset mgt, galaxy asset mgt, greystone alliance llc, resurgent capital services.  Northland was also collecting on debts for arrow financial, and worldwide assets-assignee of bank of america.  (Not saying any of them are legit).  (If you think this list is long, check out #678-486-1027).

to many calls coming from 877-867-3787, asking for someone that doesn't even live here and I have asked over and over again to stop calling...someone said today they would take me off of the calling list...

did you ever find out who it is?? They are driving me nuts calling about every hour and sometimes not even waiting for an hour to go by...I don't answer the phone any more but it's still annoying....

Shows up as unknown caller. Never leaves a message. Calls all day long every day. I don't have any clue who it is, have an unlisted number and am on the do not call list. Don't know.

I received 7 calls from this number within a 1 hour span. I refuse to pick up the call. I consider this harrassment in the highest degree and i want it stopped. If these calls do not stop, i will file a suit in court and then they will have to pay me. Tired of being called.

Northland Group Collection Co.  They call, leave no message. This morning I finally picked up the phone. Automated "hold on while we transfer your call", then I get a dial tone. I called them back, got a live person who was polite, told them the person they are looking for (they gave me a name) wasn't at this number and they removed my nuber from their database. Seemed pretty easy to fix. We'll see!!!
