Got a call from this number.  Says it was RBC (Royal Bank of Canada) which is my bank, but they never phone and not leave a message.  I put it in my Call Block on the phone.

We get the 18778791078 calling our landline as well but, when we pick up, there is no answer, just dead silence.  Putting the number on the blocked list as well.  Seems that the only way to get someone to stop pestering you with their calls is to block them...  We are on DNC list but, so far, we find it semi-useless...

I get  calls from this number and does not talk.

this number is RBC insurance/telimarketers calling to sell life insurance car or home after 200 calls from them i finnally got someone on the phone and told them if they call me again im going to dig up there phone lines and I havent had a call since.

If RBC is your bank they can call you. Not sure if they are.

RBC insurance may sell out our personal profile!!!

Literally answered the phone and country music was playing for a minute. No one ever talked or anything. So weird.

Have  been getting frequent calls from this phone number...when I pick up no one is there.
It's always around 4:40 pm EST

They called me claiming to be RBC Disability and work insurance.

Stop calling and going up my voice mail....one call wasn't even in english

3rd call from this number in 1 week, no message to machine

Called them back. It is RBC Insurance. They are calling anyone who has (or used to have) an RBC Insurance policy to talk about their new disability and term life offerings. Their autodialler isn't hooked up to an automated message, it tries to connect you to an agent as soon as you pick up (and when all the lines are busy, it hangs up or you get dead air). If you are an RBC Insurance client, these calls (sadly) aren't covered by the Do Not Call list as companies with whom you have an existing or recent (I think it is 6 months, but don't quote me) "relationship" are exempt. i.e. it isn't a scam but it is a sales call.

Same number, said husband had insurance policy and payments were being taken from chequeing acct.  He doesn't have any policy with  RBC, no payments come out, and they had my name wrong.  Told the woman (who had an accent, maybe middle eastern) mail,whatever to,me.    Scam for,sure.  They called last year, Same speil

I called them back - it's RBC Life Insurance.

number is an 877, which in the past was only possible if it was toll free.  Now, anyone can get any number to show up on the phone.  The name was listed as RBC,   I was curious so I answered though i would never talk to my bank unless I called them.  Needless to say, this caller had my name, which surprised me, since my partners name is the only name listed with my phone number.

This number calls me almost everyday at noon.  It's silence when pick it up. just blocked it. >:-(
