Got a call and when I answered they would not speak. No one there?

they call me and ask for someone I dont know

For the last 2 days I'm getting calls from this number.....They never leave a message..I have no idea who it is or what they want?

Received call from this number. Any 877 number is suspect and I have a list of them from past calls. I keep a electronic fart machine next to the phone and turn it on when an 877 # calls. Have no idea if it is effective, I do know I don't get calls from the same number again.

the number back and I hear Your call can not be completed as dailed please try again.  What is it?

Call came this number - Indian speaking person in what sounded like a call center environment stated he was calling on behalf of home depot about remodeling or home repairs for my home I owned (knew location of my home & addressed me by my name).  I stated he calling after 9pm which is cutoff time for calls from call centers.  He said he would call back tomorrow.  I stated I was not interested so no need to call again.  He became persistent that he would call what time would be good time.

At this time he became sexually vocal. He asked if I would like [***] and called me a [***] and where would I like him to stick it.  He continued in this sexual banter even when I caution him I wad recording the call.  

I reported this to Home Depot and to my cell phone provider.


Note:  last address Home Depot had for me was not my current home's address but one I owned and had sold and had since owned 2 other homes since then.

This number calls repeatedly to my father's cell phone and will not quit.  The most recent called he had threatened him.  We would like this number to stop calling.

this number keeps calling constantly. i have even answered and told them that i would file harrassment charges but this dont stop them. 8778869298 number when calling it back they evidently answered but hang up on you as soon as the phone is connected for talk it clicks with call ended showing. so either this is a harrassing call from telemarketers or someone who is deliberately calling to be harrassing from a phone card or something that cannot be traced. it doesnt do any good to tell them to stop calling  or that harrassment charges will be filed. thank you

They call and don't leave a message or answer if I pick up

got a call from this number this afternoon, I answered it.  They start with the old "good afternoon Ma'am" crap, I said "what are you selling" oh nothing ma'am...I'm calling from Auto Carers..or something like that, started saying I see you are in good standing with your insurance company, I said oh, which insurance company are you representing, he then proceeded to list the top 5, I don't use any of those, I knew it was a scam of some sort, I hung up.  They have called me twice in an hour this evening, they don't leave a message.  Did mention, they are calling me on my cell....I would be very suspect of them and DO NOT call that number back for any reason.

Called from a guy with heavy Indian accent asking me for car insurance. I told him I don't own a car. Then, he asked me for my health insurance, my social security, and personal information, so I hang up the phone.

I have no idea who is calling me from this # . . . They never leave a voicemail . . . I tried to call it back but it says " the wireless customer u have called is unavailable at this time" then hangs up . . . Last time they called me I answered it and they hung up . . . There is no way to get ahold of them to tell them to stop calling!!!!! What do I do?

Very annoying call from a heavily accented man who wanted me to pick up my car.  Now, he wants to give me an insurance quote and health insurance.  He calls night and day since November 03. He identifies himself as from "Auto Carers".  The number he calls from is 877-886-9298.  I'll call the FCC, police, lawyers next!

Ever since Sandy, I'm getting multiple calls throughout the day and evening. When I answer, they hang up. When I don't, no one leaves a message.

this is an india tele market line calling to inform people about car insurance policies. i keep getting calls from them and each time i tell them to take me off of thier call list. they keep asking for someone names bertha frank. it's quite aggravating. aren't they legally not allowed to call you again after you tell them to take your number off thier call list? i am getting sick of this.

they called again today and as usual i asked to speak to a supervisor and asked to be put on the do not call list. this is the 5TH time i am telling them to put me on thier do not call list and i am pissed.

You guys are letting these guys get to you!  I just got a call from this number as well so I did what I always do when an unfamiliar number shows up on my phone.  I hit the answer button, lay the phone down and leave them to listen to ambient noise.  It is fun because sometimes I can hear them saying HELLO!?  HELLO?!  It doesn't take long for them to hang up AND these types of calls to my cell have decreased tremendously.  I used to get calls every day at all hours.  Now, I may get one a week.

Aha!  I'm not the only one I see.  I also get calls from this # and finally answered it a couple of times the other day - say hello, get no response and my phone shows "call ended"...don't bother to answer anymore.

Why do these people keep calling me on my cellphone at different hours of the day and evening. I am so frustrated with these calls taking up my minutes when we are listed in the do not call list. The number they call from is 1 877 886 9298. Is there anything that can be done to stop these people. This is really frustrating.
