called twice today.....same dead air....any info?

Called around 10:45 am eastern time. Also called yesterday afternoon. Who are these people?

they call every day same time (11 AM)
Phone scam making money by us picking up the phone?

Called my home a few minutes ago. When I answered, just dead air.
Probably some polling or marketing company that hires morons, as usual.
(Who else would work there?)

They called me today, 2 times in a row.

called three times today, I didn't answer

called me 3 times today.  silence on the phone almost like recording, and then it disconnects.

Same her, calls after 8 in the evening....everyday for the past week.

All I get is dead air, can't call the number back as the recording I get is "you have dialed a number which is not available from your calling area".

Awful annoying these kind of calls

They called here twice today (within 1.5hrs) and all I got was dead air when I answered. They then called a third time, about 30 minutes later and after a couple seconds of dead air a guy came on and asked for my parents. I said they weren't available and he replied with 'okay bye'. :S Weird.

from the city of st-hubert in Quebec Canada it's calls my house  3 times a day for the last 4 days call the cops and they said that they can't do a thing it's really getting on my wife nerves. when we call back it's a loud buzz and then nothing

I have a line on them and are they ever going to wish they had never started the dead air calls by the time i am finished with them their butts will be big enough to drive trucks up.  Have a good day air heads at 1-877-889-2024.

I've been looking for a new truck route.

Called 4 times this morning ... getting really annoyed.
Dead air on the other end.

I have put them on Virtual Ring so I don't get disturbed but I can still see them on my Call Log ... several times a day for the last four weeks.

They call me again and again...this is frustrating

I contacted my phone company and they said that they can't find out who is calling. Here is the answer they gave me.
The 1-877-889-2024 telephone number is not an Aliant number so I cannot
determine the owner of the account. I have attempted to call the number,
but it appears to be a remote number that is not connectable from my
location. If the calls do continue, it can be considered harassment and
you could file a report with your local police department.

I have received many calls from this number.  Just had another and they identified themselves as sears.  They wanted to sell an extended warrenty on an item we purchased years ago.  All info was valid.

Been getting phone calls from this number a couple times a day for the last few weeks now. Mistakenly picked it up once and all there was ,was dead air .No one was there and when trying to trace it ,it said the call was from outside our calling area so the call could not be traced.
If it isn't that important then why do you keep calling 877-889-2024.
Get a life ,and move on , not interested in whatever it is you want.

Still getting 3 to 4 calls every day.

I noticed that I had a Voice Message from some Mortgage Brokerage and the strange thing was that the phone number was (123)-456-7890. Obviously this is NOT a valid number, which means that there is some technology available to fake a phone number. . . . . and, I bet our 877-889-2024 "friends" are using the same technology.
