The person call is Joe from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois Blue Rx (Prescription) Plan.

Except BCBS has no clue who the guy is and that is not one of their numbers. Other posts indicate someone used a different name and said they were from express scripts. Hang up and call BSBSIL and report this. It's a scam.

Yep........huge scam!!.They ask for your SOC # and that's the major tip it's a scam.

Phone # is a scam. Try the reverse directory. Doesn't come up to the people they say they are.

They called my grandmother today on her cell phone. .. AT THE NURSING HOME. .. tld her they were Medicare Best? Wanted information but was very difficult to understand. Someone in background was laughing.  My grandmother hung up.

It could have been MedicareBlue RX.  Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois provides customer service functions to MedicareBlue RX and uses this number for outgoing calls.  But they shouldn't be calling people in nursing homes and laughing about it.  Unprofessional.

It Is Blue Cross Blue Shield RX. They where returning my call so its not  a scam call. Its the Medicare part D Prescription account  services .

This is a legitimate number for Express Scripts Medicare Prescription Plan in MIchigan.  They are not a scam.

The number is Blue Cross Blue Shield Medicare plans, and it is legitimate.  I applied for a Medicare plan via BCBS, and they called me for additional information

I have express script , but if they call and I'm ot at home they leave a message. This person did not identify themselves in any way. So have no idea where they were callinf rom or what they were calling about.

I work for an ambulance provider and I had been waiting for a call back to discuss claims and this is the number I received the call from. Legitimate number. Not a scam.

The call was from 1-877-894-7312, said they were BCBS RX for Medicare.  Also said to call 888-285-2209.  Really?  This is a total scam ...

This number called me - at my work! - saying it is from BCBS Medicare about a past due bill from a childbirth. a) I do not have BCBS Medicare. b) I am 70 years old, have not had a child in 43 years.

This is a good BCBS Medicare-RX PDP number. It is used by authorized customer support reps for Prescription Drug Plan billing and claims servicing. Not a scam.

It is used by authorized customer support reps for Prescription Drug Plan billing, claims and general inquiry servicing. Sometimes they call to see if a customer's phone number on file is still active and not disconnected. Not a scam.

This call came from overseas, could be BCBS, maybe, maybe not. but definitely overseas.

say they are from express scripts and provide a 800# to call back that does not match the caller id along with a reference #.  no indication why they are calling.  i am uncomfortable calling back and won't be. if they want me bad enough, they can write or email.  they have both addresses.
