received a call from someone claiming they wanted to distribute funds from my grandfather's account.  My grandfather died over 10 years ago.  They wanted me to send a death certificate...blah, blah, blah.  Not sure exactly what the scam is but it is definitely a scam.

Several of my relatives received the same message.  this is harassment & BS -= now all my elderly aunts and uncles think they are going to receive some lost money or inherit their fortune!  

Give me a break!

mother has passed away 5 yrs ago and the estate was settled by a real attorney ,and called my attorney and they said this is a scam that preys on the family ,they have found lost money or stocks or other assets .
the death of a family member is bad enought then this scumbag ,bottom feeder atty and staff still trying to scam the family

It is not a scam. If you did some research, you would see that Elliot Greene is a licensed attorney in Florida (FL bar # 993451). If you have any questions, you should contact the law firm instead of posting incorrect information online. The firm has been locating heirs of estates for several years and has helped many people recover money they did not know they inherited from their relative's estate.

If this isn't a scam, why won't your office call me back after I gave you all the information you asked for. I have been waiting for months and no return call or funds. Amber hounded my family on almost a daily basis for the information that was requested. Is the money in her pocket?

After all of the CORRECT documentation is submitted, claims are submitted and funds are released in 90 days. If you have not received your money than there is something missing. Perhaps documentation that was not provided or can not be found. The Law Office does not get paid their fee, unless the families are paid first, so NO...money is not in Amber's pocket, thus it is NOT A SCAM. I'm sure she would like for the claim to be processed, just as much as you.

We were contacted by this law firm and it was not a scam. Once we all sent in what was required we received our money. It was a  life insurance policy that my mother had that no one knew about. She has been dead for 10 years. But me and each of my siblings had to send in what was required. If one child doesn't send in the correct paperwork then it can't be done so make sure everything is done correctly. Hope this helps.

This law firm is legitimate however what they do is troll the unclaimed property in Florida and have you send them the documentation that is needed in order to claim said property. They charge an administrative fee for doing this when you can claim the property with the very same documents from the Florida treasurer's office.

877-995-3328 and 954-733-8933 Complete Slime balls!  They call my home and called me at work at a government agency!   Even if they are a law office, they are slime balls and trolls.  I would NEVER ever use them.... warning to anyone who gets calls from them--AVOID these guys!!!
