Scam calls looking for information regarding your business selling/buying- called back after I indicated we would not give them information-----

Spammers/ scammers. They'll try to keep you on the phone as long as possible; & misrepresent themselves as from gov't office. Hang up - do not engage at all or they will keep calling.

Asked my company's address and if the company was moving or had a new lease. When I inquired as to what the purpose of the call was, she hung up the phone.

They ask for someone who does work here I think they are looking for a 'no' or a 'yes' they can use to add charges to something
when they can't get it they hang up

Very annoying! I have had calls up to three times a day from them. Stopped for a week and starting again! How can we block these calls.

they also calling our company asking for information..very annoying  looks like indian very bad english pls call indian embassy tell them to teach their people how to speak english

The caller number of 882-014-0105 does not seem to work and may be "spoofed" so they can hide who they are. We got a call yesterday and another just now. Last year we got calls like this and I think it is the same scammers.

They wanted to confirm my company address. When I asked who they are they said it was the chamber of commerce. When I asked which one they hung up. If you should happen to provide the information they ask for you may find unwanted charges on your phone bill.

I am reporting all of these calls to the FTC at 888-382-1222. Even if you have a business you should report all scams like this. While I have a business, they called my home phone.

Filipino accent pretend to be from Chamber of Commerce asking have we found our new location to move to.
Able to verify our address and company name but when ask where she got our info, she hang up

The caller speaks softly and has an Indian accent, calls every few weeks. She says she is from the Province of Ontario Business Development Office and asks if we have moved yet. Fortunately we have new phones and can now BLOCK this phone number

They claimed to be from the State Chamber of Commerce, then the local Chamber. The woman said she was calling in follow up to information we had already provided. A prior call from this same # said they were call from the State Business Dept.... Just hang up.

Woman called asking if the business had moved, said she was from Economic Security Office. She hung up when I wouldn't give her any information.

Man with a VERY thick Indian accent asked if I was [name].

I asked who was calling.

He said he was the "State of Minn-eeeeee-sota".

He asked something about [my address].

I asked what the reason for his call was.

He hung up.

I added the phone number to the list that gets a "this number has been disconnected" recording instead of the call reaching me.

They called and said they were from the Better Business Bureau. Asked when we were moving.    I asked why but didn't give me an answer.

Man with Indian accent says he is from the Better Business Bureau of California, and asks if we are "still moving or if we found a place". I said I didn't understand, then repeated himself twice. during the second time, the call cut out and disconnected.
