called my work and told me she was from the city of Vancouver and asked me if we found a new location yet. having opened a new location i explained to her that we didnt move but opened a new one in a different city. she started asking a bunch of questions. I told her Im just the receptionist at dealership and am not untitled to give out that kind of information and that I would transfer to our GM. Then she kept asking me more questions so I hung up, she called back five times before I reanswerd where she counted to ask me questions so i just transfers her to the GM. I tried to recall the number and of course can not connect.

Received call, identified themselves as local better business bureau (Mississauga, Ontario), updating records,  wanted to know our plans for relocating.  We might be, but not public knowledge.  He refused to tell me where he got his information.  I told him nothing and he went away.  

Just got a call from this strange number.  The lady said that she is calling from the State of California and asked if I have found a new office location yet.  I refused to say much and she just hung up.

Got the exact same call, hung up on her

this number has repeatedly called our office claiming to be from our state government offices. they always ask when we are moving to a new location, if we are moving. they claim to want to know when to send the proper change of address forms. I asked for their number and website. she gave me www.bdo.usa.gov and 800.442.5700, ask for ms. ann smith.

I received a call from this number this morning, saying they were from the "Ontario Business Development Office" and asked if I was moving. I said no and that was it. I've had calls from other numbers with this same thing multiple times! It's so annoying.

They ask for your address - don't give it to them, you'll likely end up receiving a fraudulent bill to pay. This is how they get your money.

They are calling saying from Province of Alberta and want to know if we have a new location.  They call every day and if I hang up on them, they call back within 5 min.  I told the latest person this is harassment and I was going to report them. Then she hung up ... for now.

They just called. Foreign accent. Said they were from the Colorado business development office. They had my address and company name.  THANKS  everyone for submitting past comments. Helpful to see.

Called saying she was from the Province of Alberta Business Development and asked if we were moving. She called 4 times within 5 minutes. On the last call she said 'Do you want me to kill you? I will kill you. I WILL KILL YOU.'  This company is making life threatening calls. Be very careful. Safety is number one.

I used to get these calls all the time, and I'd mess with them.  I got one today saying they were from the State of California (all this said in a foreign voice like all the others.  All sounding Filipino).  When he said he was following up on our finding a new place,  I said in a very excited voice, "Yes, we did, and we're so excited!!  We're packing up 40 years of Medical Care (we're a clinic), and moving to Rhode Island!!"  Then I hung up on him........lol.  These people are stupid morons!

Receive calls weekly from someone (usually female) stating they are with the State of California Business Development Office asking if we are planning on moving. Every week I ask them to stop calling, that we are not moving.  Today is the first time someone has actually stated they will take me off their calling list and not just hung up on me...we will see.

Received a call from them also saying they were from the State of Illinois Economic Development seeing if we found a new place to move yet or are we still looking.

Another a$$wipe robo caller makes my block list.

New business model, start a scam of any sort, Nigerian, Indian, loans, SEO, etc.. get a copy of the DNC list (you know all the numbers are good) set up a robo caller, spoof your id and number. Then have a great time stealing everything you can from anyone stupid enough to listen to you.

A foreign man called me from 882 014 0326 stating that he was from the planning and development of Florida. He wanted to know if I was planning on moving my business. Big scam.

Called our business as the "Washington State Department of Business Development), asked if we were still relocating. I said we aren't, never were, never will be. They hang up every time. This time I asked for a manager, was told there wasn't one, and wanted to know why I would need that. I told her of my suspicions and she hung up.

I received a similar "kill" threat from a woman in January and reported it to the police. They said I should call 911 for any type of death threat. In May I had another call (818-014 - ?) and in the last two days, two more calls (882-014-0325 and 882-014-0326). It was a man each time, saying he is from the Chamber of Commerce, asking about moving to a new office. I now just hang up immediately and then trace and block the numbers.
