they called my cell phone today

We have been receiving several calls from them with a rather cryptic "we are attempting to collect on a debt" or some such phrase. No expansion as to what debt, nothing has ever been received by us from any creditor, We are not aware of any outstanding debt owed. Never any snail mail from anyone. We always get voicemails whenever we aren't home, although we screen calls anyway.

I'm having my attorney look into it.

I just received a call from 888-201-6643. Claimed to be from the office of William C. Grossman attempting to collect a debt. No further explanation. Just a request to return their call. Guy on the phone sounded pretty miserable and mumbled a lot. I do owe some money to a local hospital, but wouldn't expect it to be in collections.
