I received a call from this number. No message.

I have recievd 3 calls in the past few months - No Message

This number called today and didn't leave a message. I have done some research about this number and it is a scam. There are several recent complaints. This number claims to be your power company. It is in reality a scam/phishing. Do not give out your phone number or account information. Tell them that you will call back, and then call your power company on a number that you have for them. Ask them if they just called, and give them the suspicious number and see it it is them.

I have gotten several calls from this #.  Never talked to them though..  Husband did once.  Said they were selliing diabetic testing supplies or something along that line.  Didn;t give name of company.

I hate getting junk phone calls. There is enough junk mail out there.

This number has called several times and never leaves a message,no one answers when I answer the phone....

I just got a call from them they said they were calling from Jersey Power & Light. I already paid my bill so I dont know who would be caling me.

I keep getting calls from this number as well, never leaves a message. I never answer a number unless I know who it is.  No information such as, name or location of call shows up when this number calls my cell.

2 calls today....2nd time left a message said they are jcp&l electric co.      The electric company has no reason to have this cell #   I use landline for all utilities and business calls.

Got a call from this # 3 times in 2 Days

It is the electric company (in my case penelec/first energy corp) calling to collect past due payment.  Mine was past due, so I'm sure it was legit.

THIS IS A SCAM!!!!'    They just called my house 10 times in a row saying I needed to contact west penn power immediately at the above number.   I looked up west penn powers number and it was different so I called them.   They said they have not called me and everything is fine on my account.   Do not give these people your information!!!

Just got a call from this #  with all the scam alerts going on I didnt answer. So I looked it up and found this forum. Super glad I didnt pick up!

It is the First Energy electric companies.  I work for the electric company.  Your phone number may be incorrect associated with an account, perhaps an old account of yours, or someone else gave an incorrect one.  But it is an automated dialer for past due billing.

I received this call but they didn't leave message

Repeated calls, no messages. Claims to be power company when I did pick up and wants account information.  

This number called me a total of 3 times, twice being in one day- first time no message left (I dont answer unknown numbers) second time left message to please call Jersey Central Power & Light- yeah, I call shenannigans.

If it is a legit call, then why do they not leave a voice mail? I got the call and called First Energy corp, gave them the number and they stated that it was NOT a call from First Energy Corp or anyone affiliated with them.

It is West Penn Power in central Pennsylvania, it's an automated nastygram that the bill is past due.
