A call from 888-217-2701 went to my father's home. The man identified himself as Al Westlake & was searching for my half-sister (not my father's child & my father hasn't spoken to my half-sister in 20 years) in regards to alleged check fraud. Mr. Westlake had info on ALL of my siblings, my mother, & my father (parents divorced). My father forwarded the # to me as I'm married & have a different last name. When I tried to call back, the phone was busy for at least an hour. When I finally got an answer, the female answered the phone "Hershey LLC" & asked for my file number (never provided to my father). She then asked for my father's telephone # & transferred me to a male who didn't identify himself. When I told him that I wasn't my half-sister & had been estranged from her for 10 years, he stated that he'd remove my father's name & # from his contact list. He then disconnected the phone. SOUNDS FISHY TO ME!!!!!

Who have you reported this information too?  I have read several emails regarding Hearshe Kemp LLC that mention Charles Day and Trigliano as owners.  Why have they not been shut down?  Why is it so hard for the authorities to catch them? Your information should be plenty for the authorities to locate them and shut them down.  Is this information current as of 2010?  They are currently using fake names as Steve Sledge and Miles Davenport...is the Charles Day and Mr Trigliano?  Did you forward your information to the FBI?  If not I suggest you do so and one post regarding Hearshe Kemp mentioned one of the owners driving a Hummer now... is this currrent information?  If so, you may want to forward that information too.  What about the address where you worked for them, not the address on the fake documents, but the actual location where they conduct the fraud. I suggest you forward this information, as well.  You may have already done so, but you should file complaint with FTC and BBB.  If you attach all the information you posted on a previous address and the information above...I am sure this will give them more info than any victim has access too.  Hearshe Kemp LLC must shut down....please help this happens.  Federal Trade Commission and Better Business Bureau and the States Attorney in the state they actually conduct the fraud (where they call victims from and require employees to work).  I have filed complaints with FTC and BBB.  I will do so with my States Attorney, too.

Former Employer - how does this company even get a person's information? I have received bogus calls from Mr. Cage, Miles Gaines, and now Kenneth Sledge. It's ridiculous. They know who I bank with, have maiden and married names, my parents number etc. They have called every nine months or so for about two years now. Should I be worried about identity theft? I watch my credit report and bank accounts like a hawk so I would see it right way but I'm still worried.

yes u should be worried alot of your info is public record.  or records from someone else if they really do buy accts from companies that have written or charged off accts its is not a big jump to take partial info from someones acct u know and find more info about u. not only should u worry but if u dont have any real business they can collect on id be filing charges against them. the fair debt collections practices act is public info read it. first party third party it matters not they all have rules they have to follow not to mention u own  state has rules as well that any collection company has to follow.  I have just started my own round with these people and they have threatened the wrong family.  I will be getting a lawyer and if possible filing a major lawsuit with everyone who has been threatened harrassed or otherwise taken to the cleaners by this company.  I am in this business and companies like this are the reason so many customers are mad when they get my call.  people need to pay there debt yes but we have the right to be treated with in the boundry of the laws given if not with respect alone

I'm sick of these lowlife debt collectors passing themselves off as law or legal professionals calling my number looking for relatives who don't even live in the same state as I do! STOP IT! It is ILLEGAL to call people other than the debtor. Also, it's illegal to pose as law enforcement or lawyers in an attempt to collect debts.  PAY ATTENTION TO THE NAME ON THE VOICEMAIL. Then it'll be obvious you're calling the wrong freaking number and breaking the law in the process!!! :(

Back in May Kenneth Sledge and Wes Simms called best friend and my mother threatening legal action, court and all that.  I am happy to report that the calls STOPPED once I talked to Kenneth Sledge and informed him that according to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) he is LEGALLY OBLIGATED to provide me with written proof of the original debt from the original account.

I went the extra mile when I was informed of the harassing calls, there was nothing on my credit report, the client they claimed they were collecting a debt for had no record of me ever being a customer so I don't know everyone else's situation but I thought I would let you know my situation with these low lifes!

TELL THEM WHAT THEY ARE DOING IS ILLEGAL, REQUEST ALL LEGALLY REQUIRED DOCUMENTS, DON'T BE INTIMIDATED!!!!  I am guessing that if you inform them of the legal requirements according to the FDCPA they realize you aren't going to be suckered and they will leave you alone.

I received a call from these people, Mr Tillman, who was very aggressive in trying to get me to pay a payday loan debt over the phone that he says I owe from 2006? He had a lot of accurate information, which almost made me believe him. He also mentioned filing charges because it's the same as a bad check. I agreed to send a Western Union payment, but I'm glad I read this. I won't be sending them anything unless I'm charged in court. He also agreed to send me paperwork on the original debt, we'll see. Same number 877-787-4717 ext 3023. He also transferred me at one point to make a payment, which sounded overseas, when I asked her to send me original loan documents before I pay anything, she got extremely rude and informed me that I did not call customer service.
