Discover Card Services marketing call. Pushing automatic paent options.

I receive calls everyday from this number.  She leaves a number and extension to call her back but I don't know why she is calling.  I have no delinquent accounts with Discover.

This is Discover Card.  They are trying to make you sign up for automatic payments.  You can have as many auto pays as you want, and in turn they will try and lower your rate and APR.  Not a scam, but just incovenient for Discover holders.

They called my wife and I for about 30 ,days. I finally decided to.answer. The advisor is assigned to me for a full year and she even waived $400 of interest!!! Yes I signed up for autopay but Discover changes it just as long as you call a few days ahead. My balance was about 14k so it tirns we should have answerd a looooong time ago!!!!!

Receive calls from this number but never answer and they never leave a message.  Already have autopay on my Discover account so not sure why they'd be calling me if that's what the call is about.

Too many calls from this number

Discover Card Account Services. Has called a few times, never leaves a message (however left a message for me at work, sort of embarassing)  Called them back, they reassured me nothing is wrong with my account, but tried to get me to sign up for an Auto-Pay feature.  Told them I was working and I would call them back another time.
Started getting calls again the following week,seems a little pushy to me, but called them back and signed up for their Auto-Pay, as it is one last thing I have to do every month.  In doing so, I asked her if there was anything she could do for ME by doing this.  She offered to credit my account $80 for each month for the next 6 months. Thats $480 over the next 6 months!  NO JOKE.

Same here, but they only offered $55 for each of the next four months......still smells like a TRAP!

Update: when I was essentially coerced into the Direct Pay program, I was told this "interest credit" of $55 a month would be applied to my interest charge, and in turn resulting in a lower payment of $55 per month for the next four months.  When this went into effect, I noticed the $55 "interest credit" was applied to my account, but not deducted from the monthly interest charge--but rather applied to the account balance.  Yes, your total balance will receive the credit, but your monthly payments will NOT be reduced.

Remember, "this call is being recorded".
