says mediacom, our local p.o.s. cable company... when i called it.  says leave message, so told to remove...let's see what happens...

I have received 6 calls in 4 days from 1-888-233-9261 they are representing themselves as Mediacom Cable.  I have repeatedly asked to be removed from this calling list but they keep calling.  Today when I told him I am not interested he told me "Shut up and listen to me".  WTF  I called Mediacom at 1-888-847-6228 and reported this person, whom did not give a name, they told me it would that about 3 months to get me removed from the calling list.  I responded, if I receive one more call from this company or phone number I would report Mediacom to the BBB.  Lets see if I finally got thur to them.

I keep getting calls from 888-233-9261, name not provided and I am on the Federal do not call list. When I called back the recording was from Mediacom. Furthermore I live out side there service area. I have no need for their service.

Caller id says "toll free".   They call and hang up on the digital answering service repeatedly. I have learned to not call them back and complain as I think that motivates them to just keep calling. They just ignore the DoNotCall list!!!  What a waste that is!
