i have been receiving wrong number calls from a collection agency (this is one of the numbers they call from) for at least 6 months. i have told them numerous times they have the wrong number and they have claimed they will take my number out of their system.  guess they lied cuz they keep calling.  i have now filed a complaint with the fcc.  i am considering filing a complaint with the attorney general.  the last person i asked to remove my number actually screamed at me!!!

This a collection agency apparently. I answered a call that was for my roomie and "Mr. Bates" identified his company as Nations Group.  It may be affiliated with NRC (National Recovery Center?).  Next time they call, just answer as if you were somebody else and ask them what it is regarding, then tell them that you (since you're claiming to be somebody else on the phone) don't live there anymore.  They'll probably stop calling and will probably spend time trying to track you down.

NRC is a collection agency in Georgia. Like other such organizations I'm sure they hope you would believe, by calling themselves NRC, that they are a government authorized agency. My issue was with the legendary Household, which I foolishly got a merchant credit account with, my first and last time, supposedly a no interest and no fees for 6 months deal.  Household was acquired by HSBC, a huge international bank headquartered in London, which doesn't usually play in this kind of business.

This is the rudest group I have ever heard from. The person I spoke with was a Jay Harris or something like that. [***]! He would never identify what group he was with and began a diatribe about how I was personally going to be responsible for the downfall of a company. I'm apparently being called to collect on a piece of cable equipment that was returned to the company via their own shipping meathod but was lost by the shipping company. This has been resolved with the cable company and yet I am still being called to pay up. Apparently they need my 350 for this equipment so badly that I have to pay reguardless of the actual cable groups satisfactory resolution. This company won't call to verify that the issue was handled and they won't take my word for it. If you see this number tell them to goto hell.

NRC- One of the lowball scum suckers of the collections world, they buy old junk debt and try to collect on it. They lie, give false names, and operate on the fringe and over the edge of the FDCPA laws. Not to be trusted and for Gods sake if you deal with them DO NOT give out personal info or bank account numbers. They will call and make threats like "this will be going to our legal dept" They have even had collectors arrested for impersonating police officers. The police aren't in the collection business!, and you can't be arrested for owing money on a CC account!Get everything signed and in writing BEFORE you send them a penny if you work with them, demand proof of debt and get a reciept for anything you mail from them. These people are thieves. They are not professionals, they sit at a phone all day, and remember the person you talk to works on commission and is NOT a colege educated professional.

called me today and left an answering machine screaming message that I needed to have my attorney contact him today.  who are these jokers???  a legitimate company would first of all be professional and leave full name, company name and not just an 888 number but an alternative real area code/phone number.  I may just contact an attorney to call this fool back!!

This NRC is doing the same thing to me. This woman keeps calling my job and is threatening to call my company's human resources office. Threatening to have a paycheck garnished. This is about a CC. This was the biggest mistake of my life that I made when I was desparate to pay for school. The fees were so high. My CC limit was $500 dollars and I kept paying and paying on a balance that just kept getting higher. I wanted to pay off the whole balance but was not in a position to. They kicked my [***] and now this NRC is calling and threatening me.

The number they call me from is 770-234-0101. The woman who calls is such a b-tch. She tells my business to anyone who picks up the phone at work. Asking for my supervisor and threatening to call my HR office.

They kept calling me on some old credit card bill I'm not a deadbeat I just forgot about it.
I would've handled it sooner but the people there were so rude I avoided the calls just to avoid
them I got a Debt Settlement company to handle them for me. Thank God the ignorant calls stopped and I didn't have to speak to any of those park animals. If you want you can use my people their pretty cool and have some cool perks. 888-211-2269 I think I get something for referal but I'm not putting my real name on here. lol just thought the info might be useful. Good luck!

Got a call today from this number. The caller ID said "Toll Free Number." They left no message, but after reading this board I'm guessing it's Nations Recovery Center. That's another number to add to the address book so a name shows on the caller ID instead of something generic. That way I know right off the bat not to answer.
