Call from Best Buy to remind me that Reward Zone certificates were going to expire in a few days, and that I could re-print them online if I wanted to. Sweet!

Nice service from Best Buy telling me I have another month to redeem my certificates.

Best Buy calling my number to tell me some other person's certificates are about to expire.  I called back and told them that I wanted my number removed since the call was not for me, but they told me they cannot change another customer's information, so apparently I will keep getting this other person's calls until they decide to update their info.  That sucks.

Call from Best Buy Reward Zone. They told me my certificate will expire in about 1 month. This is the second call I have received about this certificate.
They are really pushing hard to get us back into the store.

same thing. why are they calling my cell phone. I did not ask for them to call. And my number on the Do Not Call list. I always liked to shop at Best Buy, but if this continues - I will never step foot in their store again.

Circuit City had bad customer policies - if BB is not careful they will be traveling the same road to store closures.

got a call from this number just now. I ignored it because there was no name on the screen. if it's Best Buy I don't need to talk to them.

I don't shop at Best Buy at all because of past nightmare experience. I just answered a call without reading the screen, and I cut it off immediately to save a buck or so. The number appears on my screen shows to be 888-237-8289.

No Best Buy, please.

Reminder robocalls are so annoying.  For the price of one postcard, they can send out 20 robocalls.  They tend to get "trigger happy" in the glee of cheapness and send out calls about *everything*. Cheap for them, annoying for us.  This is third store this month that was robocalling me.  This is the last time I setup one of those store cards.

Well here we go again...this time I am truly ready. I am not a customer of Best Buy, so there is no way I have a "reward program" with them. When they called my cell phone, it was an automated call so I could not ask to be removed from their phone list. So I called 1800-555-1212 & got a number to call them. The people that answer the phones are rude! They will not transfer you to a customer service rep...instead sent me to reward zone, which does not get answered. Four calls later I finally get a cust. service person. I make it clear to him that he is to take my number off their call list and I repeated my #. From the above post I'm fairly sure they will call again. But this time (thanks to the internet) I am informed...you should take the time to google dealing with telemaketers....give it a try. I know I am.

Just got a recorded call on my call phone from the president of Best Buy saying I had asked to be reminded when I was eligible for an upgrade and that "good news, that time has come!"  I never asked Best Buy to notify me of anything.  I think that Best Buy and Verizon Wireless and I are due for a very serious discussion.

Automated message reminding me to call the number to schedule an appointment (for a service that I purchased--geek squad television installation).

I'm not even a customer of theirs. I never purchase my phone,etc through them. have always used the carrier's store.
