Received 7 calls from this number in 2 days. They never leave a meeage and when I attempt to call number, I receive a message ststing that the number does not exist.

Received a call this morning from that number.  Person said he was doing research something to do with food.  I said no thank you and asked that I be removed from the list.  See what happens.

They called me 4 times already - when I was home I answered it and they spoke in spanish - I yelled at them and told them do not call this number again.  Hopefully they got a big ear ache.

August 10, 2011 at 9:05 p.m. PST (NEVADA) This number 888-242-9012 called, person stated they were taking a survey regarding Eastern European something or other and did I have time to talk! NO! It's after 9:00 p.m. in Nevada and I hung-up. I am on a DO-NOT-CALL List and will be reporting this number!!! My caller I.D. shows NOT PROVIDED as to who calls. They must be embarrassed by the company they work for because if they were ligit they would provided their name!!!

calls me at 8:47 pm doesn't leave a message. May of called me earlier under another number.

Telemarketing

Obviously a shady spammer/scammer since their company name is blocked. P.S. there are lots of phones these days with call block technology. Every time I get a shady call, I Google the number, read everybody's comments on sites like this, and then block that number from calling me again. BLISS! Get a new phone and block these [***]! Your evenings will be much quieter

Market Research or Political Survey

They called twice in 10 minutes. I told them it was almost 10:00 pm and she said they were in the Tampa area. She was rude, but I was worse.

I have been receiving 2 to 3 calls daily from this number.....

I have received approx 12 calls from this number.  One at 9:30pm.  Have told them not to call again.  That's like talking to a brick wall.  I've even used a police whistle in hopes I'd hurt someone's ear drums.  Didn't work.  Still getting calls.  I just let it ring.

Just got a call from 1888 242-9012 claiming to be from the Department of Energy.  They are now blocked on the phone. I don't have time for people who still think any form of telemarketing is effective in this day an age!

called my house at 9:03! Something like Eastern Research nonsense! smug as could be and laughed when I told him not to call my house!

They claimed to be from PG&E doing a customer survey.  They asked me if I still lived at ------ stating my address!  Told them I moved.   I he thanked me and hung up.

Annoying number keeps calling,  often nobody there when i answer.  This number starting calling after i bought something on overstock.com

said they doing a survey asked if i took the newapaper or had t.v. toled them i didnot take paper then asked if Iwas a registered voter yes asked how I was voting. I said straight democratic . they tanked me and hung up. guess they  didnot like my answer

If this is a company doing a Survey, they are not required to abide by the Do-Not-Call policy.  Please read the information provided on the Do-Not -Call site.

Just got a call this evening from Middle-eastern sounding male; claiming doing market research for Eastern Research - immediately responded with I am on the National Do Not Call List.  I suspect this firm in cahoots with a call center out of Pocatello, Idaho that I just filed both a PUC Compliant, and a compliant with the Attorney Generals Office about their not following my wishes to not be distrubed.

They called right before 9pm. and when I said, "Hello!" they laughed and hung up!!! What good is a do not call list if they don't respect it? Why is it that I have to take my precious time to fill out a long questionnaire when all we should have to do is report this number to the proper authorities?

Received a call from 888-242-9012 at 9:22p.m. Caller I.D. showed "Unavailable". I never answer 800 "Unavailable" numbers and let it go to ans-machine. They hung up - no message left. I doubt if it was a legit call from a legal survey company - most likely a scam, especially calling after 9:00p.m.
