Carol Grimes called and left a message saying there was a court case against me and that I needed to call immediatly.  When I called back, it sounded like she was at home and she said would have to call back with the details.  When she did she said I had been sued by a magazine distributor for over $1100 plus court cost.  She said she was a lawyer trying to stop these "crooks" and that she could have it settled for me.  I just needed to pay (by phone) $339.  I obviously refused to do this over the phone.  She got angry and said I was going to be prosecuted to the full extent.

I just got the same info from this company only the person said there name was Christine Walker and sounded like a man...A VERY rude one at that!!!!

Have received calls before from Carol Clyne leaving a message saying I was being sued and that maybe she could help me. Also left a docket number but now I've received a message from a Christina Walker.
I also received a call from a man, didn't catch his name because I just said not interested and hung up on him.  He called right back!

Christina Walker calls my place of employment at least once a week even called my mother at home and told her she had a lawsuite against me and that it was urgent they reach me to prvent me from going to court... told me I owed close to $1000.00 but would settle for $400. couldn't i put it on a credit card or borrow the money to pay it off.... Now she called to day and told the office manager that they have a court case and want to garnish my wages... that they would be taking me to court because i refuse to work with them in this matter.
Phone they call from 88-243-6571. And yes Christina sounds like a man... and it's a maganize account from 5 years ago...

"Christina Walker" ( 1888-243-6571) called my parents' home today looking for me letting me know about case number 8405319. I got the message second hand from my dad since I have not lived with them in years and it sounded just like this super rude call I got at my own home at 7am a month or so ago telling me that magazine people were very upset with me and telling me that I was getting sued. The caller, an angry older woman, asked me if lived at address an address I'd never heard of. I told her I had not, that she had the wrong person and hung up the phone.

Christina Walker called from "Legal Services" about an account for magazines from 2003.  Saying there was a pending summons on a court case.  Please I have lived here for 12 years ... why haven't I ever received information on this "court case".  
She was extremely rude and trying to phish for information.  She called herself a "mediator".  If you get a call from her - tell her to send you information in the mail.  She is a fake!  She will ask for you to pay a few hundred dollars instead of 1000.00 (or so she says you owe).
She called me a "deadbeat" - common no real company would ever allow a gross nasty woman like this represent them. (I did have trouble paying my bills years ago ... we all go through difficult times) No one deserves to be spoken to like that!
Do yourself a favor: tell her you know its a scam (you looked up her info online).  She will not call you again.

Some guy named seth goldstein calls and says they are takin me to court for owed magazines from 2003. Fyi: never received any magazines. This company has mt ss#. Why would I give out my ssn to a magazine company??  Wondering if anyone else has spoken to this guy.

 You said you got a call from a man and didn't catch his name.  Does Seth Goldstein sound familiar?  My husband got a call from him.  He said we would have until February 28 to send the money or we would face court. Is this a scam?

We got the same calls from Seth Goldstein.  My husband never received any magazines either.  They have my husband's ss # as well.  What have you done about it?

Unfortunately I've delt with Seth Goldstein. I thought it was a scam too, but he's legit. I was able to settle my case out with him, and he sent all the paperwork as I requested. I know a lot of people think this is total BS but I took it up with my lawyer who advised me to just take the settlement.

The whole Seth Goldstein thing is a scam. Just hang up and pay him no mind. He tried to get me for 100 and some dollars. Gotta be smarter than me to fool me douch

Seth Goldstein called my attorney and filed this out without me accepting a settlement. i've heard of these companies before and i didnt think they would actually persue this kind of thing but since i signed the contract i'm responsible. my lawyer told me the statue of limitations for these types of cases is 7 years, and the contract i had was from 2006. now i have a judgement on my credit report for $1,260. i am currently working toward a settlement with Mr. Goldstein and he seems reasonable so far.

Not only Christine Walker, but now Nichole Williams is calling from Williams Legal Service with this #8882436571.  These people are rude, crude and socially unacceptable!

i received a phone call 203-717-4003 (hispanic) saying they were calling about a lawsuit and he was going to transfer me to someome that could explain it, but he could not and he was an attorney office. He is the attorney who else was he going to connect me to, Mind you I never got mail or anything. I do have any outstanding bills either.  When I called back I told him this was a scam and he blocked my number. I called back on my cell phone and daughter phone and he blocked my number.  He said I called his office a scam and he did not want to talk to me about the lawsuit.  He got very angry.

i got a call today from "Jen Robinson" say i had a lawsuit against me and i needed to contact here asap! so when i got home from have a lovely dinner with my lovely husband, i look this court case up and the number and here i am!!!! i knew it was a scam!!!!

I received a phone message from this "Jen Robinson" on late Friday afternoon saying that I needed to contact "Legal Services" ASAP!!  Also leaving a case ID #.  So of course I returned her call and she stated that I had over $1ooo.oo of fee's I owed a magazine company that I signed a so called contract with dating back to 2005 when I was still in high school and that she would take a settlement of $250 over the phone so my case would not be taken to the next level!!! I told her she was mistaken because there was no way I would of signed a contract for magazines and I hung up. I started looking up this so called "Legal Services" and here I am!!!  So today I received another call from "Legal Services" stating this person was from there investigative team, so I kept asking what "Legal Services" do you represent? and needless to say she got pissy and raised her voice so I hung up on her! Once again she called back trying to get the last word and I just hung up on her....come on...."Get a Real Job" and stop trying to get free $$$$ ..

This lady just called my phone earlier today and It sounded suspicious claming that she was prepared to file a civil case against me but did not mention why or who she represented claimed her name was caseyshaw. When I called back with questions I got no answer.

The previous message saying it is true and he settled is a scam. The newest scam craze is for the scammers to go on these websites and confirm that everything is true. No lawyer (that wants to keep his license) is going to advise a client to give out SNN, banking or any other personally identifying information to a random person over the phone. If 20 people say its a scam...trust that it is. The one dissenter is probable the perpetrator of the scam itself.
