I received a call from this number and they stated that I owe 1,080.00 dollars.  They also want me to send them 566.92 cents  within 72 hours from today through a claim office that they won't give me the information  for until I tell them that the funds are available.   They claim that they are located in Atlantic Georgia but would not give me a complete address.  The scary part of this is they have all of my important information.  What can we do to stop these kind of people from  calling and upseting people like me. Thanking you  in advance for your time and consideration in this matter.

Contact Stopfraud.gov and place a complaint.  There is no such law firm as Drake and Mckennon.  It's a fraud!!!!

I also got a very threatening phone call from here saying I have 72 hrs to pay or  be served with court papers.
They were rude and mean! I was really scared. Glad I looked this up! How do I find out if such account they claim is for real? How do they get all of our information? Most reports I saw were accounts ppl had already settled debt with. So are these TOTALLY FAKE, trying to recollect a debt you already paid? How sickening!!

got a message from phone # 888 255 6597 gave me 72 hrs to pay a debt if not legal proceeding would be brought against me I keep getting these kind of calls. I had 2 pay day loan debt and there were settled with a company almost 2 yrs ago

I received a call from this number and they said that I had 24 hours before a summons and complaint would be filed.  They didn't give the name of the company or any information about how they got my information.  I have been the victim of identity theft, and the victim of my information being "sold" to these fraudulent companies.  I will not be returning this call and I would like to file a formal complaint.

SCAM. MALE RECORDING STATED I WAS GETTING 24 HR NOTIFICATION BEFORE FORMAL PROCEEDINGS STARTED AGAINST ME.  A SUMMONS WILL BE FILED IN MY NAME WITH MY SOCIAL SECURITY #.  I WAS TOLD TO CONTACT THIS # AT D & M ASSOCIATES TO REVIEW MY RIGHTS & DETAILS TO AVOID INVOLUNTARY PROCEEDINGS.

This number showed up on our caller id at 10:20pm tonite. Never checked the message, but no legitimate law firm would call after 9pm. After all...its "against the law."

I got the exact same message yesterday.  Did you find out if it is legit?

Got a call from them today. They only leave a number for you to call. Guy said I was wanted for bank theft against Chase. I told them I have 3 accounts with them and he said we had nothing to talk about. These guys are full of it, probably operating out of a garage or basement. Give them NO information what-so-ever. They never identified themselves as debt collectors. He got pissed when I told him.

I received an automated call from this number saying that my name and social security number were involved in a case that could suspend my state and federal tax return for this year and that I had 72hrs to contact them. I called them right away and they had my name and the last four of my social and said that I owed Newtown Savings Bank money for fake checks in 2010 and I told them that was impossible because I never use checks and I was and still am in good standings with this bank, the person told me to have fun telling that to the judge and hung up on me.  I called back and told the same person that I wanted all the information on this case and he told me that he did not have my file pulled up anymore and that he set a summons for court and that I would receive this paperwork within 30-45 days and when I asked for his name he hung up on me again.

I checked my voice mail, and had a message stating that I have 72 hours to call back before court proceeding.  Some thing to do with income taxes.. Will not be calling and don't care, if some one needs to serve me, come find me and I'll see you in court.

I received a call from them with them telling me a name of someone else so nothing was done but I don't know if it is real. After reading comments I think it is a fraud
