Said she is calling from "University Prep Center"...

This number called me looking for a family member.

they called at 115 and when i answered no one was on the other line.

Three calls in the last week from this number... no one there when I answer.. no message left when machine picks up.  Annoying... and I'm on the national do not call list.

Receiving numerous missed calls from this number.  They have never left a message

I keep receiving calls from this # asking about my neice, if I am her parent or gaurdian. I fI ask any questions they hang up. I did get some info..."university Prep center".  First off any 'legitimate' University will not call you they will contact you by mail. Something needs to be done about this...Where are they getting their info from, if it is from the schools then the school needs to be investigated, my number is on record as an emergency contact only.

These clowns called twice within 90 minutes.Didn't leave a message either time.When I called the # back, a recording says "You have reached customer service(customer service of what?) all reps are presently busy, please leave name and # , and we'll get back to you as soon as we can." This is followed with our mailbox is full, and is not taking any messages.In the future, I'm just going to trip the ring, until the nonsense stops. I'm subjected to these kinds of calls constantly, yet this method of dealing with them seems to work.

too much missed calls

Called 5:25pm. I do not answer 800 (ie 888) numbers. Did not leave a message. A word of caution to anyone who wants to call them back. DO NOT. They have equipment that logs your phone number as a "live one" and will call you more often and for Gods sake don't call them from a different phone or your cell phone because then they will start calling those phone numbers too. Don't answer is the best way. They do stop calling.

Over the past three weeks they have called and the few times I pick up, nobody's there. I do have the Telezapper, but it's supposed to eliminate these calls, because they think the number is disconnected. If I let it ring, it rings about 4 times and just stops. It happens at least 4 - 6 times a day, not enough rings to activate my answering machine. So far they haven't called after about 8PM my time.

I had the same response calling the phone number back as "subjected" did.  That, is bogus.  I googled Univerisity Prep Center; it is just another online system to prepare students who are planning on attending college and/or taking the ACT's, SAT's and such.  They could have gotten our phone numbers from anywhere.   University Prep Center Customer Relations 4241 Jutland Dr. STE 100 San Diego, Ca, 92117 1-866-343-6754 M-F 8:30am-4:30pm (PST).  If you or anyone else within your household, or even possibly your last name, has ever been interested in online college, or classes, or preparing for the ACT's or SAT's, your information was most likely shared.  THEY ARE TRYING TO RECRUIT YOU TO PAY WAY TOO MUCH FOR ONLINE SCHOOL AND/OR HELP WITH SCHOOL.

how can we stop these calls what about the do not call listing its work on other calls I've gotting seems these fall under that type of junk either way they need to stop calling I get them until almost 9PM For a grandchild who's home schooled and doesn't even live close to me my numbers unlisted  and isn't given out  ask for my grandchild's parents? like same if you ask anything they hang up the phone .Its the 8882604306 but only atl ne ga 2604306 shows on the caller ID

they call everyday and they dont say anything.

I've been getting these phone calls from them for about 2 weeks they even knew my name they were asking for my parents then just hung up. Imm just going to block their calls because they are annoying

This phone number calls me and usually I dont answer. It has probably been happening for the past two weeks. After I ignored the call twice it called again and I picked up..... no one answered when I said hello. It just is silence for about 6 seconds.

they just called me and asked for the woman I bought our house from 6 years ago! and yes, we have a different phone number...

I'm tired of unwanted calls. I've been on the DNC Registry for years.
The FTC should be reading these complaints instead of requiring a form to be filled out.
