I just recieved a call from this # a few mins ago. I said "hello" and she said "What"... Not what as in a question, but What as in "What do you want.." I don't know if it's the first time they've called but I will find out. If you're going to call me, then say something!

I got a call from this number and I never answer my cell when I get a call from a toll free number.

They left a voicemail but when I checked it, it sounded just like a room full of people talking.  Not loud, but it was obvious that it was a room of operators.

I called back from a "unavailable" number on a business phone and it was Dish Networks.  I asked why I would be getting a call from this number and the guy told me that it was the number they use when they want to offer you service.

They claim to be a Dish Network call center in Blue Well, West Virginia. However, I confirmed that Dish uses my home phone number, not my cell number, so the fact that these callers are using my cell number is proof that they do not represent Dish. By the way, Dish claims they are not behind it, and disavow any knowledge of the calls; they say it is unauthorized.

I just now got a call from this number on my cellphone, but they hung up as soon as I said 'hello'.

They keep calling me!!   Please stop!

I received a call on my cell from 888 285 9984 this afternoon at 2:15 p.m. central time. The female caller said it was "your provider of Dish Networks calling." Then she asked if my name was Mr. ___________ (it was not my name). I told her she had the wrong number. She apologized and then she hung up. I am not a subscriber to the Dish Network.

I am a Dish Network subscriber, but I signed up using a number that I had disconnected when we changed to Vonage. My Vonage TN is unpublished, so I have no idea if this is a valid call, or just crap.

I called it back. voice prompted to enter for the do not call list. They stated it could take up to 30 days. They also stated if you are a current dish network customer you may still receive calls.

This number claims to be Dish Network, but it is not.  I'm not sure what their angle is, but I'm thinking SCAMMERS.  Dish Network misspells and mispronounces my name (regardless of how many times I try to correct it), yet the people calling from this number call me by my nickname and pronounce my last name correctly.  That was my second red flag after the strange number.  Lastly, when I ask DN about it, they say they have not called me.  At all.

Someone from this number left a very faint message -- it was a womans voice and she just said my name and hung up.

I tried to block this number with my call screen service and it would not allow me to block it. So I called the number and got a recording that said it was Dish Network's Sales & Marketing line, and to press 2 to stop receiving sales calls, which I did.

I get this call a few times a day- I can hear talking and laughing in the background. Then the call disconnects.

Dish Network call center, I got "ezvoice" answering machine on my computer you can edit,delete,and block calls, it has many features check it out. I've had it for about 4 months, it was worth the money under 30.00 for the program.

These people call almost everyday. I answered once, and like I do most telemarketers when they ask for me, I say I am not there and ask for a message so I can find out the nature of the call. When I answered this one, the woman asked for me, but when I said I wasn't there, she was very rude and quickly hung up. Next time they call I'm going to blow a whistle in their ear. :)

they just called my home. i don't answer toll free calls, especially in late October! Don't want all those political calls. filed a complaint on donotcall.gov

This is the second time I was pulled into this robocaller.  I persued it last time and tracked it to a Dish Distributor who swore they had nothing to do with the calls.  Calls continue for days, sometimes weeks before they move to another region.  I find it very hard to beleive that the feds allow this continued and blatant abuse.

THEY CALL 2-4 TIMES AWEEK --I DO NOT ANSWER TOLL FREE CALLS --THEY LEAVE NO MESSAGE

They have called 8 times in the last hour.  I recently cancelled my dish service and when my kids did answer the line once they asked if we wanted to reconnect to dish.  I am registered with the do not call registry.
