Yep...same thing happened to me today!  I called the company & they sd that no acct from me exist!

how can I get this number blocked or to stop calling me

I received an automated voice mail from this number 888-288-0910 stating his name was Alex Swift and to call to set up a time to get papers served.  To consider my self notified.

Hilarious.  Just got this call for some random name.  It's clear by the phrasing that they have no idea where this guy works or lives (plus they called my number that I've had for over three years).  This one may have youtube potential :)

They call their company Johnson York,LLC. I took out a online payday loan from star cash processing over 2 yrs ago and they got their money back they automatically took it out of my checking acct and i have an email from them stating as of today i dnt have a balance with them. The lady calling me is Patty. She tells me i write bad checks and took out a loan from paydayone. I live in michigan and paydayone dnt associate with michigan i called them twice. She threatened me and my family, they are rude, aggressive and demands money and if you dnt pay up they said they will put a warrent out for my arrest and i will have to go to court. I know my rights though and not stupid. They almost got me fired from my job back in 2010. They have my ss#, home address, bday,drivers liscense #, and house phone which is in my boyfriend name and i dnt have his last name but i used him as a reference so i think they hacked into star cash processing computers and stole ppl's info! Thats creepy how they know my info and i feel uncomfortable in my own home. I dnt get much help from lawyers. Im making police reports but i dnt kniw if that will help bacause i think they are over seas. FBI or something needs to freakin HELP this is getting serious!!! They call from 888-390-5129/ 888-288-0910. Their website, johnsonyork.com is fake read rhe very bottom. Intuit is where they designed their site, anyone can do it and they buy their phone number lines from ringcentral. I called ring central and i told them this and that they are buying #'s from them using them illegally but they seemed not to care. I askef for a supervisor and she wouldnt connect me so maybe they are in on this too. When calling ringcentral you gave to press 0 to speak with someone. Johnson york will not tell anyone where they are located. Dnt they get that ppl are not falling for this!? When will they give up and get real jobs!???? They need to caught ASAP! This is going too far how would they feel if this was happening to them?? Then they have no contact info on their site, no BBB either. SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP!! I understand that the more ppl report these calls/ numbers it will help but i think its enough p complaing so when is something gonna get done!???,,at the last minute!?? Come on government help these innocent ppl, including me!! We want justice, peace and for this to end i mean geesh they have ppl's PERSONAL info here HELP!!! Im getting lifelock for my ss# and if they/anyone try anything they will be in deep trouble and i hope i would be able to see rhem facetoface in court so i can slap the s*^ t out of them and i would do it with all my might for every person they are harassing. I dnt know everyone personally but i feel fir everyone because its annoying, spooky how they have ur personal info and its just not right!! Keep fighting ppl and just keep reporting we cannot let these ppl take over!!

Maybe someone should agree to meet with someone, give them the address to a police station but dnt tell them its a police station. See what happens!! U will be im a safe place because ur at a police station. iF anyone was to show up maybe that can be a start to getting them caught!! Have anyone ever thought about that? They call me again or any of my family that is what im gonna do. If nobody shows then im gonna see what my options are by talking with the police and im gonna give them these numbers and ring central phone number as well. Lets see who will be served with court papers then!!!! Haha

Ashley, what has happened is these people are hacking into systems getting information on ppl that have taken out payday loans online. They are preying on ppl that do not know the law. They can not arrest you and they are not investigators.  They are not process servers either. If someone is going to serve you papers they are not going to call you first.. They are going to just serve you, that is how they get their money. If they dont serve you they dont get paid.  They are not going to take you to court. It is your right to make them show you in writing your debt, from the original creditor, if they cant provide that then you know they are a scam.. Let them know that you are going to contact your attorney general.

yes they call and was very rude, i ask them was it on my credit report the man got very nasty i really don't know what to do but he told me the same thing , also that he will come to my job with a summons, i really don't know what they are talking about first of all the need to send you a bill before they do anything i really haave a problem with that
