I just paid my bill I think there is 7$ outstanding they have to stop calling every day ~ three times a day!!!!!!!!!!

I think its FIDO...

It is Fido.  Since they let your bill go high.  They think, they have the rights to arrass you.

but i found before this day lot of calls from this number , i wasnt at home , i just saw the number on my phone

They called. I sent it to voicemail and they called again less than 1 minute later!!

Isn't there a law as to how many times per day these people are allowed to call and harass you?

i'm pretty sure it is fido.  there is no doubt they harass people.   i'm pretty sure these calls come from india.  one woman told me they begin calling customers after they are 48 hrs late.  i consider that harassment.

Hi everyone, I use to work for a Fido outsourcing customer service company and I'm having my cell phone with them.  I also received a call from them with that number.  There was nothing on the other end.  I can assure you it is a Fido call, most probably account receivable trying to get money for a late payment.  So yes, it is arrassment from them.  By the way folks, Fido doesn't outsource in India, it's all in Canada and they are doing business with many companies but for collection, it's all in Montreal at there office directly.  I you get them, ask them what is the cut off date for the suspension and tell them to go [***] them self and stop calling.

just so annoying the number of times these people call in one day from early morning to late into the night --- even more annoying when they wake up you AFTER you've gone to bed
The caller ID is Name Unknown and my cell is a Fido cell - what's with that? And, what is worse I have paid my bill and just into a 3 year contract.

If this is a Fido number I would understand why they would be calling me IF I didn't pay my bill.  But, my bill is fully paid.  How on earth do you get them to stop calling when all your bills are paid??????

just for the record
18882882106 is fido straight from the accounts receivable departement, this is not a collections agency, and if there is no one on the line at the moment that you answer, be patient and wait someone will answer within a minute.Also, contrary to what is being said in here, not all fido numbers end in FIDO, for example the mandarin/cantonese line or the accounts receivable line, or any other departement for that matter other than customer service.


secondly, if you are  receiving calls from this number and you dont have a fido account it is because someone has left your home or cellphone number as a contact number on their fido account and they are trying to get in touch with that person, not you.

thirdly, if your boss paid you late, wouldnt you be mad? thats what i thought...

fourthly, yes maybe you already made your payment but the method which you have chosen has a time delay for them to receive the payment,so its not that they havent updated their systems, its that you chose a slow method of payment

dont get mad at them, you can only blame yourself that the bill is not paid on time. You have a month to pay the balance from the day that the bill is printed, so on a normal persons pay period you should technically be paid twice within that time period

They keep calling me as they have my number associated with somebody else. Telling them that they have something mixed up doesn't work, as they will keep calling you anyway. Getting tired of their harassment for no good reason.

why in the blue hell are they calling me if my bill is fully paid.. Take a fuking hint when i dont answer 45 times.

3 times a day? they call me on my cell right after i dont pick up they call my house and when i hang up on them they call my cell right away.. every 30 minutes. fk these guys

i am with telus for 10 years, why i keep get calls from this fido number?

it is fido for sure. i just got off the phone with them. they have an automated system that calls people. it takes someone a few seconds to pick up the call because it is some stupid machine that calls and only puts a customer service rep on after someone has picked up.
it is super annoying because they call you two times in a row and never leave messages.
also, even after you have made a payment and spoken to a customer service rep, they still call you.
