Two calls.  No response when answered the second one but could hear telemarketer-type clatter in the background.  Did not answer the first call.  Calls:  12-18-10 at 11:48 am; 12-20-10 at 8:33 am.

One call at 7:40PM on 01/20/11, no response to my "hello?"

You need to talk several times for them to pick up. A guy with indian accent asked for someone I did not know. He seemed a little lost anyway because he apologize and said that the call was going to be recorded and then hung up

This number has called me several times, though not usually more than twice in a week. They don't leave a message, and they never answer when I respond.

This number  calls me constantly-usually 4-5 times a day....never leaves a message and never responds when phone is answered....what the H**L

I get at least 6 calls a day from these people and they have nothing to say nor do they leave a message. Its really irking the hell out of me. If you are going to call say something.

Called last week - nothing said when I answered.  This morning I said hello several times, and finally an Indian-accented voice asked for someone whose name was similar, but not identical.  He said the call was recorded, said sorry for the inconvenience and hung up.  Probably a bottom-feeder defaulted-debt collector.  I have blocked the number.

A zombie debt collector. Heavy Indian accent trying to collect on debts over 10 yrs old.

Called at 8:56 p.m. last night.  Makes me angry that they would call while I'm eating dinner and/or watching a movie.  Why would a debt collector be calling me?  I have no debts, and have never been in arrears on any debts.  Seems like I'm getting more and more of these bogus calls every day, and they don't seem to realize what time zone I'm in by my area code.  We need a way to forward the number with *99 or some sort of code that blocks it from our telephone provider and also reports the number as a harassment to the Do Not Call registry.

I just had it out with Capital Management in Buffalo, New York.  They are a collection agency.  That is the only firm I have had a I have had contact with.  I would imagine that is who is calling.  They hang up to fast.

It is Allied Interstate..they are a bottom feeding collection agency trying to collect on many years old debts far outside the statutes of limititations on debts.
They are now using off shore telemarters ( India ) to attempt to get you to re-affirm and when you refuse,they call at all hours day and night.This comapany seetled in Federal court a few years back for these violations and are up to it again.
Mark the times they call you and file a complaint with your state attorney generals office.You can also contact your phone company for your records,yes,even on blocked numbers.
You can also file suit against them ( small claims or thru your state attorney general )and WIN if they have called prior to 8AM in the morning or after 9PM at night.
I have them clear cut with their toll free numbers 6 times in the past two weeks calling at 7AM in the morning.
They will now be paying me.

They call late at night which is quite disturbing and the calls go to voice mail.  Yet there is never a message left.

If they call you on a cellphone you can have your cellphone company block them.  No charge.  If they call you on your house phone press *10 each time they call.  Answer the call and then hang up and press *10.  If you do this 3 times, it is the law that the Federal Protection Agency (or someone I can't remember who) has to investigate the calller (them) and they are fined and you are able to press charges in court I believe.  Seems like a lot of stuff but just press *10 whether on your cell or home phone each time they call and after 3 times it's an automatic investigation and the calls stop.   Good luck Joseph.

And a follow up to my previous post.
Each time they call you prior to 8AM or after 9PM is a seperate violation meaning you can file a seperate suit for each time.Very easy to do in small claims court and win every time.
