"Brett" said he was calling from Cabela's Visa fraud department to check out suspicious activity on my husband's account.

I too received a call from this number.  Called back, it was Cabela's fraud department.  I had used my card to purchase an AARP membership, which triggered something in their system.  I later called Cabela's Customer Service to confirm that it was a legit #, they assure me that it was.

I received a call from this number and they also claimed to be with Cabela's Fraud department. They were who they said they were and helped me out greatly

I received a letter from Cabelas Visa and said that I had fraud charges on my visa. .. this is the number the letter said to call so I checked here and found it was legit but I also called my lical Cabelas and confirmed the number... so I felt ok in calling and they were able to clear it up. .
this is a great resource for checking out fraud but also verify good numbers
