Calls my grandmother asking for me and I have never lived with her or given my grandmothers number to anyone.

I did a google search on this number and I think it is GRC is a debt collector for Student loans with Sallie Mae.   They called me a left a message saying that my son left my name for  a reference.   I called tonight and the office is closed and they identify them as GRC.

I called this company back and they would not tell me the nature of their business or why they needed the information. All they would say is that they needed to know if an employee was still active. Rep was aghast that I would not release any information without knowing what the call was about or without a signed release from employee.

I got another call from GRC today and he said per federal regulations, he couldn't tell me if his company was a debt collector. What a crock, the company website says what they are. I told him again that I would not release any information, and this time, I told him if he wanted information, to get a subpoena.

Wont give info expects info. Scam!

They are a "Debt Collection" Company...a sketchy one at that.  Don't give them any info and block them.   Currently bringing a case against them for sharing a family members private info over the phone against regulation.

Stated they were a business debt collector.  Not owning a business, which I informed them of, than discontinued the call.

Called and left a message trying to ask about a former Co-Worker.  Blocked their number
