I got a "Sorry we missed you" message stuck to my door, with the box checked saying it is the 2nd attempt.  I never got a notice of a first attempt, and THERE IS NO COMPANY NAME on the form (although it somewhat resembles a UPS form).  It says to call the above number and enter the Route Code, which is hand-written (as is the date).  The checked boxes "Deliver a Gift Package" and "2nd Attempt" are pre-printed parts of the form.  I suspect it is some kind of scam.

You could almost guarantee it involves a Debt Collector.      Trash the note.

I received the same note on my door today. I'm in the Sacramento area. I'm going to toss the note.

I received this on my door.  No first attempt.  I called and was routed to an attendant but still  no company name.  Then some guy answers and says Weather rite.  It's promotional and asked for the routing number.  I said no and hung up.
