Persistent call, computer call, looking for Moze cooper. Says his name is David hill. Asking for this guy to call back.

I am getting calls from this "David Hill" person too.  It's interesting because a few weeks ago his name was "Red Johnson".

same number, same thing.  Red Johnson a few weeks ago and now David Hill.  I've had these calls in the past TWICE from different places. Unfortunately, i was stupid those times, freaked out about their threats and paid them off even though I never got paperwork or any documentation whatsoever.  I've learned more now and have contacted an attorney and filed a complaint to sue.  I'm tired of this crap.

WOW you paid them??? Please don't ever do that again. That's why they call all of us for money for a debt we don't even owe. They think that they can get away with it and everyone will pay :( No way will those fools get a penny from me!

I have been receiving these calls for months and made the mistake of calling them back about two months ago or so.  I was threatened and called names, yet they could not tell me about the debt and refused to send me information.  It is ridiculous.  Do you have the name and address of the company?

I received a call from 213-271-9210 and they left a message asking me to call 1-888-317-6320 and request to speak to David Hill.

I called the 213 number back and it was not a good number.

i called the 888 number and a recording came on "Thank you for calling Williams S..... Associates" but I could not make out the second name beginning with "S".

I redialed, and asked to speak to David Hill.  I told the gentleman that I was hearing impaired and it is difficult for me to use the phone, please repeat the name of the company SLOWLY.  He did repeat it but there was a lot of static and noise and try as I might, I could not understand what he was saying.  I can tell you that the name he gave me did NOT sound like the name on the recording when I called.

I was very polite and asked for more info, specifically their physical address so I could send a payment.   He refused (why would someone do this if I'm offering to pay?).  I asked him to be patient as I was having difficulty understanding him.  I told him I looked up both phone numbers and there were several complaints logged by consumers against David Hill and this phone number, so surely he could understand my concern.  I told him wanted him to please validate my debt.  He said, "F*&$ you! You f---ing deadbeat!" and hung up.  WOW!  Very professional, huh?

I will be filing complaints EVERYWHERE and begin keeping a log. I will also call back again and keep trying to get a name and address.  He'll screw up again....

You all people know you owe a debt.. pay it.. I pay them got ltr & updated my credit report.. I they were listed with credit breau..  

Quit complaining about the calls & pay your bills..

Why should I pay someone when they won't give me any info about this debt. I don't owe anyone any money and why should I just give these jerks money when they will not give me any info I work to hard for my money

I pay my bills but I also verify who I am paying and what bill! If they are unwilling to give me their mailing info and insist paying over the phone using a credit card, it is very suspicious..They claim I have a debt from 2006 but are very unwilling to give me info to verify...I know my rights and have spoken to an attorney, do not pay if they will not mail you anything in the mail to verify. You can send a certified letter to give them 30 days to supply you with the info and that would be great. If they do not respond within 30 days they obviously are a fraud...

Agreed...so many scams out there.  The FDCPA states a debt collector, whether 3rd party or the original creditor, MUST provide to you a letter in writing stating certain facts, if you so request. If you are confused in any way, please copy and paste the following link to your web browser:

We all make bad financial decisions at some point in time, but that does not give someone the right to prey upon the weak, the guilty or the vulnerable.  Stand up for yourself - it is well within your rights, as illustrated in the FDCPA.  There's no shame in doing it, and there is no shame in not being able to pay your bills if you are in a bind.  Just keep in touch with bill collectors and explain the situation; at least make an attempt.  This will help you if you have to go to court.  

Mindless rantings such as, "Oh, just pay your bills!" doesn't help anyone in a financial bind.  What WOULD help is if helpful suggestions were offered here to assist a person in need.  There are options out there and I will search and continue to post as I find them, simply because I have been there.

I received a called from David Hill at my place of employeement stating that criminal actions will be filed against me if payment not made. I tried calling number back not able to get any answers re bill.

Typo in previous message. I received called at my place of employment and I am very upset.

These people have harassed us for going on a year now. We have changed our numbers and somehow they keep finding us. Everytime they call.. the amount we supposedly owe is different.. the names are different and the company name is different. First they start off with threatening you with a warrant for fraud or theft. They have tried both on me. They seem to know where our place of employment is.. which is interesting.. however when I ask for documentation on the "loan" we are being accused of owing they will no provide it. As I tell them.. my younger years were just that.. If we OWE the debt.. then by all means. show me.. and I will pay it. I will not give my money to someone I do not know.  The fact that these people can get away with this harrassment is hogwash.

This David Hill representative was looking for someone else, but had my TDL, last 4 SS, and my personal email account name.  Accused me of taking out a loan in 2009, although I haven't taken any loans, and I was going to be arrested and prosecuted for fraud.  Wrong lead, and now I'm in the crosshairs.

They called me today at my place of work  said i would be going to Jail for check fraud if i didn't pay them by credit card by morning the lady was nice on the phone everyone said don't pay them I've never been on trouble in my life i did have payday loans in 2009 but payed them so nervous

did they repond after after filing a small claims ......they charged my cc without consent.....

I and my family have received a call from 888-317-6320 telling me they are going to serve me papers and summons to my place of employment and address by 3pm today unless I pay $2200.00 upfront right then and there on the phone.  To say they had me upset as I had papers proving the debt was paid years ago, and they still insisted stating companies hire us because they show the debt open but yet, the prior agencys probably skip town.  They mispressented themselves as sherrifs office to someone I know looking for me.  But yet they would not release any information prior, or send me proof to verify the debt prior to making any payments,  she was threating me with a threat of being arrested again without justifcation.
This needs to stop.  I also called the GA district attorneys office to report it.  I also called the property management office at 2002 Summit road Atlanta ga that they gave me and they had no tenants by this name.

Got a phone call just now with a recorded message from David Hill 888-317-6320..The bad thing is at my work all phone calls get answered by everyone.. So they had heard this message so many times.... All I have to say, don't not pay these people it is a scam.... To get money out of you...

Very Unprofessional ethic s  Told my wife  "Shut the fucxx up you stupid bitcxx" when she requested to be removed from the calling list. I am a prominent member in the community and some stranger put my listed phone number on some application. As with any husband i promptly called from my office within five minutes of this incident and stated i had a grievence with one of their callers language only to be hung up on three times. It appears that only two people were working.
