Was "Aisha" from All State. Wanted to discuss my home owners insurance policy with me.  Left message.  Do not use All State.

Started receiving calls with only Unknown Name shown.  Turned on Caller Block & 888-327-3782 showed up.  They always hang up when I answer or leave no message when I don't.

This is Suntrust (UNKOWN on caller I.D.) May I have your S.S.# please?

Called again today 8/27/09... This is Suntrust calling may we speak to... we will call back.

Suntrust. they asked for my S.S #.. i think it might be a scam

They called me at 3:41 am. Rang once.Then hung up.

Called me did not answer

Please be careful when this number calls, 888 327-3782 shows as Unknown Calledr on Caller ID, the person said calling from SunTrust Bank for my mother. It sent red flags up everywhere since there is no reason for SunTrust to be calling and it sounded like a male trying to be female. I told them not to call back and I'd have her call the bank on Monday. You could tell they didn't like this and I refused any information as to when they could reach my mother.

This number showed up on caller ID, said "Suntrust Bank" on 5-29-10.
It has shown up before, I would bet it is a scam.

I opened a new account at Suntrust about 2.5 months ago.  They called me from this number wanted info about my bank stuff and I am old, slow, forgetful but I did not answer her questons.  I was at my bank the next time it was open for business and the lady there said yes, they do call about the service you got while you were here and I said I wish you had told me.  Now I went back to the same suntrust last week and again this week and they are calling again and again.  I think that the callers work for many different banks and perhaps other businesses too.  When I remember it I will ask my bank to get me off their calling list or I will remove my money from there.  The caller did sound like she did not know enough about me to have my records from Suntrust.  Never trust anyone calling you if you don't check with your back first but don't give your information out to calls; tell them you do not want to talk about your private business especially your banking business!!!  that is what I told the one I talked to for a minuter or two.

I sent an e-mail to suntrust online about this number, this is what they replied (P.S., I told them they were setting people up for scams by doing this)

I have been receiving phone calls from 888-327-3782 which is posted online as sounding like a scam. Is this a telemarketing call from the bank?

keep getting calls from this number.  They never leave a message

I missed a call from 8883273782 and called back.  An individual answered and said i called the Suntrust executive office and went on to say that in order to route my call to the proper individual, he needed by Account Number and SS#.  Of course I said no and hung up.

First time called me 03/29/11 about 6:15 pm. I answer but he said something so fast, I been quiet to make sure that was a person or machine but then he hang up.
Second called 03/30/11 about 4:20 pm. I ignore it becasue I remember this number. No message left.

Call was from Suntrust, or the call center they hired to promote their newest offer. Older woman, very nice. First she asked if I had received each of two mailings (hadn't), then verified what branch I opened my account at, offered me the newest promos, and I can verify that they were accurate as I was just there today. I don't do anything with money over the phone on general principals, and wasn't looking for a new type of account anyway. "Please rate your service at your last transaction..." and everything was good. If I HAD been looking to change my account features, she would have been the person I would have wanted.

Always Answer These Types Of Calls - They Have To Pay For Completed Call.  Keep Them Talking As Long As Possible With Fake Info So They Have To Pay More.

Scam call. Said it was Suntrust but wanted me to give them my account numbers. The real Suntrust would never ask for your account numbers.
