Call display showed 1-888-347-6441, with long distance ring. I answered "yaw yaw yaw", which a person would understand, but a computer looking for 'hello' won't. No operator came online, so I hung up.

I just received a call from that #. I could not understand his pitch because of his thick accent. I told him I did not want any and to take me off his list. He said something and I asked him to repeat it. He said "go to hell mother fker. " I called the 3 back but it says can't be completed as dialed.

Received a call from this number.  The person explained that they had received notification from Microsoft error reports that my computer was infected and they could help me fix it.  I realized that they had no idea what I was running on my computer and that this must be some sort of a scam or fishing for business in a very underhand way.  They directed me to the web site at http://pcpestfix.com/ and wanted me to connect to one of their technicians using the buttons on their home page.  At this point my suspicions were confirmed so I told the person that I had no intention of proceeding, so he hung up.

Another call...  ...another dead air...  ...another annoyance...  ...another day with a limp and meaningless "Do not call list."

Male with an Indian or Pakistani accent informed me that I was having a problem with my computer and offered to help. I told him this was a scam and told him to never call here again. We are supposed to be on the do not call registry. The number displayed on my call display has called here several times when we were not available. How do we stop these crooks from doing their harm?!

Have heard so many warnings regarding people calling claiming to be from Microsoft saying they need to fix a computer problem.

This is exactly what they said when they called. I replied "That's bull$h!t!" and the foreign lady on the other end yelled "No I'm not bull$h!t, you are bull$h!t! You are BULL-$H!T!!" Clearly not a professional! Anyway, I said, "I don't accept calls from telemarketers or from bull$h!tters, I am on a do-not-call list, so don't ever call back again!!" and then hung up.

    I feel empowered! LOL

Just received a call from these [***].  The guy said he was from Microsoft. I asked him where he was calling from and he started to turn hostile. He told me India. I asked him if he likes scamming people and that he should go jump off a high building.

I just received the THIRD call from these people in the past year. Fortunately it was dead air, so I hung up completely.
There was an article in the paper regarding Overseas Companies calling Canada and have been fined for ignoring the Canadian Do Not Call List.  They mentioned several companies and I think this was one of them, so, report them.  It's free and won't hurt to try.
Here is a link (hopefully) to their list:  https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/plt-cmp-eng

I led the poor guy on for 20 minutes, fully aware of the scam since I work in IT.  I finally gave him $hit and he just hung up. That was 20 minutes that he won't be spending scamming someone else!  I actually tried to call back so I could 'scam' more people but sadly it didn't connect. I could do that all day... :D

Got a call from this number this morning.  I answered by saying "Hello" and waited. There was a long enough pause that I was about to hang up. Then finally I get this barely understandable Asian person saying "Hello" to me. They always sound lost or, they seem to expect us to say something more before they say "Hello"

The one calling starts the BS and says, "We have noticed that you are having a problem with your Windows machine. I said, "No, that can't be" and the caller said that their equipment indicated that I did have a problem with my Windows machine. I again told him/her that, that was "impossible ...because I have a Mac"

I love doing that with these slimy pieces of crap!

We got a call this morning at 6:30am. My wife answered and thought they were trying to "sell" us a loan' She gave him $hit for calling so early and asked where he was from. He promptly hung up on her.
