Who is calling me from this number?

Do I know you, Charlie? If not, please, promptly remove me from your calling list?

I'm new on this site, obviously! Thanks to everyone for the advice. My own advice: I don't answer any number I don't recognize or doesn't show a caller ID. If they leave a message and I don't know them, it's obviously deleted. Otherwise I report the numbers to the National Do Not Call Registry.
This is apparently a Telemarketing firm! Probably a robocaller because it leaves no message!

I get this too with UNKNOWN NAME but here's the kicker, I think they also use a lotta other #'s because just when I started getting these calls, I started getting a whole slew of other hang-uppers with unavailable names or whatever. And the area codes aren't even in the same state! It's a whole new world out there, kids. More phones, more calls like these.

They said they were with a magazine subscription service but would not give the name. They were checking to see if I was still getting my magazines, but did not know which ones I subscribed to. Sent straight to Ooma call blocking.

This number keeps calling me asking about a magazine subscription and i had to ask like 3 times what magazine and they listed several random names then I stated i never signed up for anything and did not want any of it and then they said something about the internet and hung up and when i try to call back to say to put my on the do not call list it rings twice and hangs up... I do not want to be called and I have also had the same issue of other numbers calling since they started:/ How can I get it to stop?

I got a call from this number about a magazine subscription. I don't receive any magazines and after reading these reports I'm afraid that this is a way to get my personal information.

They called about magazine sub. with me too. Gave me the run around then asked for my social and credit card info! I obviously hung up.

I got a call from the sky he apparently know my name And knew my address he wanted to confirm my address in which case I told him he has the wrong person he asks oh you don't live here I said no and furthermore I don't buy magazines... and he hung up

They called me to talking about a magazine and what credit cards I want to use and I said I want to delete this account she said she will send me to a superviser and they will delete it.... Then it hung up. I'm sure it's a scam to get your personal info. They have called me several times and just hung up.

When they call do NOT say yes at all throughout the conversation, do not 'verify' anything,even your name. They record you and that's all they need to authorize their magazine subscriptions. You will then end up paying these people about 1000 dollars for various magazine subscriptions, it's a SCAM. Question them continuously and they hang up on you. Keep an eye on your credit card/debit card statements if these people get your number.

They actually accidentally left a message this time!  And they cursed on it (s@!$).  I'm pretty sure this could shut the # down, but I don't know who to call.

total scam..... asked about damaged and lost magazines ....they could not tell me what magazines I subscribe to. I was told I was going to be rolled over to a high priced 16 month subscription. Clearly a scam, how can you roll me over if you have no idea what I'm getting. I told her I didn't know how she slept at night working a scam like this and that i'd rather work a honest poor paying job than hustle people like this. She hung up on me.

Called saying they were going to renew me for 5 years and that I was going to be charged on the credit card they had on file. They said they would transfer me to a supervisor but they needed to verify all my information.
