They call every day.  My credit record is clean, I pulled it again to check.  How can they get away with this?

who is it. I try to call back but they do not identify then self?????

I think this message/call was identified as "Out of Area" with 866-417-5761 as the ID number. Some guy starts saying something to the effect about some sort of proceedings taken about my account and to stop the proceedings to call JEFF WAR at 888-365-7129

I am currently enrolled in a debt relief program that once I have enough funds in my account with them will start paying off these AH's

just started receiving their calls -they call my mothers house & leave messages on her answering machine - saying that if I cannot call back today to have my attorney get a hold of them - it is important I take care of this matter today  etc --- sound real threatening w/the ole attorney stuff

I think these are the people who advertise free grant money on a very slick website.  I went on to get some basic information.  I couldn't submit a question without entering my phone number.  I think it's them because I did speak to someone who rudely asked if I didn't want grant information, why did I log on to the website.  If I only knew then, what I know now.  I cursed them out, told them to take my number off their call list...and still they call.
Has anyone figured out how to stop them? This should be illegal.

guys name is brandon. his direct number is 8774740321. call him and complain to him. or report him to whoever if he comits a violation of law (police/attorney general/cell phone company)

Yes, this guy left a very threatening message, making it sound all official. Then he ends with, "Govern yourself accordingly".  I will thank you very much.

They identified themselves as "Credit Control" when I asked them to send me a statement they said they have. Then the woman "Lynn" after asking when I would pay the bill continued on with "I will just take it out of your paycheck".

I get a call from this number everyday.  However I never answer it because it's a recorded message and it isnt my name they are asking for (atleast I think because it is so garbled that I cant understand it at all.)  I didnt want to answer it b/c they have those scams that it cost you thousands answer a call or call someone back and I am not intersted in parting with anymore of my money than i absolutely have too

I get a call everyday, several times a day, asking me to call 1-888-365-7129.  It is a recorded message, I can't understand the name of the person they are asking for, but it isn't my name.  I tried calling back but got an ALL Circuits are busy message.  My name and phone number are on the national DO-NOT-CALL list!  How do I get them to STOP CALLING MY NUMBER?

Called, and claimed that they were calling about an account with Walmart that we opened and gave a SSN that did not belong to us.  When I said it was not our SSN, the person hung up.  I called the number back, and spoke to a supervisor.

He said that they had the wrong phone number that went with the name, apologzied.  When I told him that there were websites saying the company was a scam, he said that it was a legitimate business, and apologized for the inconvenience.

Asked for me by name and when they do that I tell them that she doesn't live here anymore. She asked if I had a number for her, I told her no, she asked if I was the ex-husband, I said yes, she asked if we were divorced, I said yes, she asked when were we divorced, and I hung up. They call every day, it's very annoying.

My husband and I get this call at least once a day.  It's a recording that says it's an urgent call about our account.  We don't have an outstanding balance on any account and I certainly wouldn't talk to a recording if I did.

I pressed '1' as directed
I was told all operators were busy and then got a awful busy tone.
I tried calling a dozen times with the same results.
I found out 888 356 7129 is a QUEST number sold to
Arizona Tela Broker a subsidiary of Diversifies Telecommunications.
Arizona Tela Broker said they owned the number and a collection agency used it.
The representative said they had to check before they could give me a direct working number to call.

A computerized call asking for my m-i-l (Who's been dead for 2 years!!)and then this phone # is left with an "account number".  No caller id showed up.

They keep calling.  I have tried to return the call, but go into the hold message loop...
VM message indicates they are trying to collect a debt with a specific acct. number that is not one that I recognize.

This number has been calling me 6-8 times a day for the past month or so. I never answer and I have deleted every single voicemail from it before I even get the chance to listen to it. I called back today after finding this sight. A woman answered, immediately asked me if I was me by first and last name, and reminded me of a $5,000 debt that I owe to a local hospital that I never paid.

They told me if I didn't start making $800 per month payments by the end of December that the hospital might send its lawyers after me.

This is a real debt at Galesburg Cottage Hospital in Galesburg, IL that I never paid.

DAMNIT I was hoping it was going to end up being some kind of scammer, but it wasn't.

recieved a call from mr flores very nasty asked for allen told him i wasnt allen,asked who he was said he was mr flores ask what it concerned and he hung up when i called back was put through to mr flores and he acted as if he didnt know who i was and said he could no disucss the mater with me  but that my husband gave him my number tht he didnt pull it out of thin air. i requested to speak to a supervisor and again washung up on.said he was from credit something.

Got call this am, hung up on them.  This is the 6th time they have called.  Someone needs to make this stop.

I keep getting calls for my 8 yrar old grandson. Obviousally he does not havr any deliquent accounts. I told the last caller to stop or I would go to the FTC. He hung up as soon as I said "report".
