Called at 8:15 this morning. No message. What a bunch of idiots!

Bill Me Later pestering calls. They call multiple times a day and have been told to stop. They are harassing me at work on a work phone. ILLEGAL.

Called tonight at 8:30 left no message.. its kind of late don't ya think?

I get a call from these people atleast twice a day. I never answer the phone and they never leave a voicemail. Really is annoying

actually.... any phone that you left as a second phone or referral phone,,,, they will call. they dont know who they are calling, just that YOU left that number as a back up contact number......... and it is not ILLEGAL if its a collection call......... YES>........ its BILL ME LATER. collection call

OH. and yes ...... my referral number?? they did call my daughter.... thats how i found out they were Bill Me Later..... OOOOPSY..... didnt pay bill.

Looking for donations, guy said he was from Hammas ??? and needed money Avoid these calls, probably some sort of Terrorist  origination , or worse yet Democrats !

Another call at 8 am with no one on the line.

Then pay your bill.

How about you oh I don't know... PAY YOUR BILL?  That's one way to get us to stop calling you... Dolt.

If you own an iPhone and get calls from this idiot, or any other, there is a ringtone you can download called "None".  Yep...  Nothing!  Change this number to the ring of "None", and let them call all they want!  Hehe - thanks for the free credit $$!

I ignored them.

Today, I decided to Google this number, and yes, it is Bill Me Later.    So I called them at
that number and asked them why they have been calling me.   They wanted only my name (no other personal information), and since they obviously already have that and my phone number, I had no problem giving them that info.

They told me that they had this number listed as a good number to reach "Person X" (somebody else, not me).

They also told me that they are a debt management service for PayPal.   So I presume they are a collection agency for PayPal.

The "Person X" name they gave me was actually somebody who had bought something FROM me about 3 months ago, using PayPal.  

So it looks like PayPal, in their usual bumbling ways, took my phone number off that transaction, and has been using it to pursue "Person X".  Not 5 minutes after I called them and they said they cleared this up, I got another automatic call from them.  This time, I talked to them, and explained the whole situation, and again the agent said they would take the number off their system so I wouldn't get any more calls.

We'll see.   But it really sounds like it's just typical PayPal bungling.

See my other post.  This place is calling people who do not owe anybody a dime.   PayPal is screwing up, and handing out transaction phone numbers of the wrong people.  In my case, I sold something to somebody, PayPal and BillMeLater
are pursuing THAT GUY, and they have been calling MY number instead.

I wonder if you really are PayPal.  If you are, that wouldn't surprise me.  PayPal is a bunch of incompetent bunglers.  Instead of calling people "dolts", why don't you make sure you use the correct information and stop harrassing people who don't owe you a penny.

I have never owed Paypal anything for longer than 5 minutes as I only use it to pay whenever companies force me to. It's so unbelievable that I keep getting harassed because of other people's bills.

I would update my account with a fake number but I'd be sad for the poor person who would have to deal with these calls that aren't for me or them!

Please be advised that the pursuat of your techniques with debt collections can be unethical and may cause you legal issues down the road.

I get calls 2-3 times per day and when I answer, they ask for someone who I don't know. When I tell them there is no one by that number, they continue to call early and late, they do not care what time it is.

I do not have debt with them so stop calling!!

They have been calling twice a day and the two times I have answered they have been looking for two different people. Fortunately they are calling my cell so I have them set with  silent as the ring tone they can call all they want eventually they will figure it out.

Pursuit is spelled P U R S U I T.  I hope you are not a lawyer!
