its a recorded message from a collection agency

Keep getting calls on my cell for someone named Jesus Centren, not me.  Always leave messages on my phone, never a live person to talk to, to ask them to stop calling the wrong number.  Phone number does not answer if you try to call them back.

is there a way to find out who this is?

I have been getting calls from 888-400-6028 for several weeks.  I finally answered one of their calls yesterday...curious.  It is a recorded message stating they are a collection agency trying to collect a debt.  I went through the menu choices and left a message for someone named 'Janet'.  She called me back today and wanted me to give her my home phone number (I left my work number on her voice mail).  She said she could not pull up my information without my home phone.  I refused and said that if they are truly trying to collect an outstanding debt pertaining to me she should be able to access my information using my name.  She fumbled around a bit, searching for my information, and then proceeded to ask me if I still reside at "...."  I have not lived at the address she stated for over 2 years.  Then she said something about a medical bill for someone named "...." (my adult sons name).  She quickly added "oh, but that debt has been paid in full."  Weird!  She began fumbling around again, searching for my information, periodically asking for my home phone number.  At this point I said "janet, just tell me what bill you are trying to collect from me.  That is all I want to know."  She said "i am trying to find it but it would help me to have your home phone."  I then said that I had googled them and know they are a scam.  I have no past due bills to collect.  I told her never to call my number again.  After that call, her boss called me (some guy with an Indian accent) also trying to obtain my phone number.  Janet called twice more as well.  When I got home from work, my home phone rang....guess what the caller id said.  They are a complete scam.  BEWARE!

origanally got a call from 866-872-3215 my son answered and they asked for me my son said he's not here,He said it was of personal matter his name was Alex the regular indian accent and was told to call above number so I did from another phone after hours and got a message that said to leave a message and they would get back or I could accsess my acount by callin 888-400-6028 so I called and it said cbc bussiness corp (forgive my spelling am really not that stupid just getting old) said I could get to my account by putting in my account # which I don't know then said I could hit 4 for other things so I did and asked if I wanted mailing addy or location press 3 so I did all I got was CBC busn offis some place in ILL.zip 60914 could not get the rest but will try again tommorrow and post back but is a collection agent I had changed my phone # and tried to stop phone calls till I can file bankrupcy but trying to raise money for a lawyer to do it they want $1100 to file so am stuck right now and owe a bundle hate doing it but am broke lost job and going into forclosure thats our economy for yah good luck hope it changes with the new elections

Creditors Collection Bureau755 Almar Pkwy Ste A, Bourbonnais, IL 60914.They call us once a week or so now.I think they finally realized that we are BROKE,no job disabled.

I answered a call from this number and they asked for my fiance. I asked  who was calling and she avoided the question by asking if I was his wife. I said "His fiance." She then asked me to have him call her back at (815)802-1916. When I asked her what the call was regarding she said "a personal business matter". I assumed she was calling from a debt collection agency, but this sounds a little fishy. I wouldn't really call a debt (most likely medical) to be a "business matter". Based on another post about this number, I do wonder if it is some sort of scam.

It is the Creditor's Collection Bureau collecting medial bill debt.

Some type of scam. I suggest you refrain from providing any information. They are trying to con you for information. Ask them if you have ever entered into a contract with them, and when they say no, ask them why on earth you would want to enter one now, and to delete your number from their records. They are not legally allowed to call and harass.

I get calls from them a few times a month, i don't know the number never answer they never leave a message so i never know what they want. They would play hell getting a region from me on a mechanical message though I delete those automatically.

I get calls from this number several times a week.  They are asking for a "Robin" somebody or other.  It is a recorded call, and it's impossible to talk to a person.  I want these calls to stop!  I am not Robin, and no one by the name of Robin lives here.

Called. I answered. Asked for a Robert. No Robert here. Then they said oh..sorry. Is there a Thomas here. Nope. Again wrong name. FINALLY after TWO more attempts fishing for a name that would reside in this household & failed I notified law enforcement.

Got a voicemail with recorded message but in such a bad background noise I couldn't understand much.Just that it's a collection agency for someone I couldn't understand the name, but it didn't sound like mine.
