888-419-2387

I receive calls from this number all the time. This evening an actual person left the message. So, I use caller ID block, call 888-419-2387 (it's their cost) put my phone on mute and wait til they hang up.  I've done this several times - connected with two different representatives and now they sound like they're beginnig to get a little irritated that no one responds from the other end of the phone. It's actually kind of funny and I'm getting ready to call them again.

The perpetrators are:  Alliance One, Receivables Management, Inc.

These guys are a collection agency...the problem is I have returned their calls now 4-5 times  and told them to cease and desist calling and texting any of two of my phone numbers . They still persist calling AND texting me, as early as 6 am. The worst part about it is I am a woman and NOT the guy they are looking for. Doesn't matter....even though they have known this for months now...they STILL hammer my phones. (BTW...my two phones have different area codes from different states no less...so it's not an issue of accidentally calling me and getting someone who might have gotten someone else's phone number, and I don't share a last name with the person they are looking for. So they have a solid dead end and they are just wasting my time)

If they call you just tell them to stop, then get an attorney if they call you more than once.

done that too, I had one collector that called like 10 times in a row, so i called her about 15 times and kept waiting for her to answer, stayed on for her greeting and then hung up.  She stopped calling, lol.

Good idea

Download autodialer software.  Program their number on it and call them 20 times a day without using your phone.

Turn the tables on them

quit calling me.  my father passed away on 01/20/2015 at 6pm.  you will not get anything from me  if you need proof, let me know and I will send a copy of his death certificate, otherwise, take me off your list.  thank you

Stop calling.  Write for any reason.

You have to send them a letter stating you wish them to cease and desist and then if they persist you have legal rights.

I have  having issues with this number, Alliance One, and I flipped. The guy told me I should be RAPED!!!! Can you believe that? My aunt is my lawyer and all I'll say is "we're talking"

Harassing. When I finally got mouthy, the "man" caller said "you should be raped and if someone doesn't do it, I will". Unbelievable. Getting my lawyer involved.
