Claim to be an express carrier needing to schedule a time to deliver a [package to you. When nothing comes you call back and you get busy signal or error on your phone.

did you ever find out what their deal is? i'd like to know what exactly these pieces of sh#t are up to...

This number called and stated they were a express carrier and have a delivery - left a message - when I called back could never speak to a real person - I am filing a report with the FTC

I had the same experience with this person, called saying I had a package, gave me a claim number, and a number to call back, called back was told they would deliver within the hour, but never came. Now when I call it's just a busy signal. Strange.

Several phone messages to several family members with the same 888-420-9628 number stating they have a package that has water damage and must be delivered only to my daughter.

The 888 number is unlisted and the company cannot be found on Google.

Got a call from this number stating they had a package to deliver and needed a security code. When I stated that I did not have a security code, they stated the security code is where I currently work. Does anyone know who is this company???

I received a call today from United Express Delivery from 888-720-9628, they said that they had a package for me, but no one was home to sign for it.  I asked who it was from, they said a family member of mines name.  They also called my work right after my cell phone number.  I wouldn't verify my address because this call seemed strange, they said that they would redeliver and I said fine.  No package was ever delivered.  I called the number back and got a recording of United Express Delivery, but after a couple of hours I tried the number again and it has been disconnected. Strange!! Not sure what they were up to, but def not anything good.

This number called a family members ex to get in touch with me left a tracking number and phone number to call back. I called gave them tracking number and they said they had a package for me and that it said it was a birthday gift (my bday is coming up soon by way) and they said there was a security question and that it is the place I work so I gave both pt jobs names that I have and they said that wasn't it. So I told them I have no clue, they verified my address they gave me my address I didn't give it to them. They said they would deliver the package tomorrow but I needed to know the answer to the security question I told them I am sorry I had no clue what it would be. The person said she would talk with her supervisor and see if they can just send it without but then wanted to know if it would be the location that I worked by some chance I said no I will talk with family and see if someone actually is trying to send me something. And I hung up......believe it is a scam scam scam or bill collector trying to get my info. Not sure but watch out!!!

I got a call like everyone else, I think it has to do with a resume I sent out the day before, and must of emailed it straight into the hands of a scam. Then a call the next day saying I have a package they are trying to deliver to me and I needed to answer the security question which was My work, I said I don't know, so she said she would change the verification, to my birthday, feeling comfortable with the well educated nice person on the phone I did. Right after I got off the phone, 10 min later my husband called and asked if I told a lady to call him about work, she said I personally told her to call him, I said I don't ever give out your number or my name to someone with out informing him first, he blew her off because it was all just weird and out of the ordinary, then I found all these other people on sites that had the same thing happen, I also put in a report to the FTC and believe it all came from a resume scam, because I have tried to find the job postings on craigslist, and it was gone. I knew yest I sent my resume to a scam, when I started coming across the same email for different jobs, and now all those jobs are gone, I didn't make the connect until my husband called and I found these posting and we tried to figure out how it all started and it was when I sent my resume.

Jeanine, I sent out resumes the day before I started receiving these calls as well.  What's their angle though?
